Hi everybody. this is Sunrise Boston We are sitting in at Governor Charlie Baker's office. You're demanding that he passed a statewide and federal Green new deal or do everything in his power to make that happen and pass a massive powerful agenda. We have not seen him take the action that he needs to take and he has a lot of power in the state. so we are here and you're sitting in your occupying space. What's been happening is we've been getting a lot of pushback. They gave us his business card. What does this do for us? What does this do when we're facing a future of fire? And floods and trauma. This is nine. We need bold action from Governor at Baker right now we need him to commit to the Green New Deal pledge and we need a Green New deal as soon as possible. so we are not going away until we get confirmation from Governor Baker that he will take a brand-new deal pledge Otherwise we are going to risk arrest and we are putting our bodies on the line right now for our futures in order to protect the people of this world. Yeah. We're scared. We have no power except for collective power in our action and in fact that they won't even let us sit they're sitting in, but we are physically getting blocked off from entering the office. It means that he will not listen to us. He will not even let us talk to him. All. We want is a chance to have a conversation about what steps we can take going forward and we can't even get that.
