Wow, what a fantastic experience I had here!!! I had less than 2 weeks to find a dress to attend a wedding. I am an artist and wanted something special and unique. I found it at Surviving Sisters!!! W...e had a great time finding just the right dress. The owner was amazing! She had lots of great suggestions and was super helpful and sweet. And oh my goodness, the compliments I got on that dress!!! So many people (many total strangers!) Kept telling me what a beautiful dress I had on and how elegant and stunning I looked. When I told my boyfriend how much I paid for it he was floored. He absolutely LOVED the dress and thought I spent $300 or $400 on it. It was a fraction of that price - and absolutely spotless!!! I almost spent $150 on a dress elsewhere that I only sort of liked - basically just a little more than the others I tried and hated! I will definitely go straight to Surviving Sisters in the future and save myself some time (and money), by going there first! Thank you so much for an incredibly pleasant and fun experience, fantastic price, and a gorgeous, unique, high quality, dress!!! I felt like a princess :) See More

My daughter & I stumbled upon this precious boutique today on our way back home to CT this evening. Kim the owner was so welcoming & so fun to interact with. She is full of positive energy & I felt the moment I walked up to her. The items found in her shop are both unique and fashionable. Alexis & I will be back next time we are in town. Thank you Kim -till next time our paths cross. See More

I'm from Michigan who came to Hyde park for the FDR house and the other historical attractions. I saw this place and looked like a nice looking store. The two ladies who ran the store were super nice ...and I ended up finding something here. If I ever find myself in New York state again I have to come again and give this place a more detailed look as at the time me and my mother were on out way out. See More

I had always wanted to stop in this boutique and never had the chance. Today my husband and I finally stopped in because we happened to be in the area. Best stop ever! Kim the owner was so passionate ...about her job and from the minute we walked in the door she made us feel at home. She helped me find a jacket i was looking for for the winter and it was such an affordable price! I'll definitely be back to support her and her wonderful boutique soon ❤❤ thanks again Kim for a great visit it was a pleasure meeting you See More

SSB is incredibly inviting and welcoming. My mom and I have gone on multiple occasions and have gotten lost in the myriad of options. I have had multiple success from finding pant/skirt suits and gown...s for prom. All finds are super unique and always draw attention. The hospitality, though, is what brings this store to the next level and the owner is always so friendly and kind. See More

Surviving Sisters Boutique is one of a kind! I walked in yesterday and met the friendly owner Kim. She was quick to provide service and when I had asked for a particular hat she showed me about ten ...different hats fitting my exact needs. Not only did she help me with this but was able to point out some other businesses in the community that I may be interested in. If you are looking for pristine vintage clothing or to add some current pieces to your wardrobe don't hesitate to visit this boutique. Happy consignment shopping all!! See More

I strolled up the side walk and was greeted by a welcoming, smiling face....Kim (Owner). Who invited me to sit and chat a bit. She was so interested in my life and listened to my story of being a surv...ivor. Sunny day, warm conversation, peaceful porch that lead to the Boutique. So BEAUTIFUL!!!! Kim helped me find my treasures. I was in desperate need of new skirts. She had just what I needed. I left with a hug, my new beautiful clothes and a lifted spirit. I made a new friend today and I will be back again to shop some more. I knew I wasn't just a customer to Kim...I was another Surviving Sister!!! Thanks Kim. See More

Kim is great! Stopped in because my wife saw the clothes hanging outside. Ended up getting a full tour of the place by owner Kim and she ended up finding my wife the exact wool winter coat she's been ...looking for. And to top it all off, the jacket was originally 150$ & my wife paid 40$ out the door. Thanks Kim!!! See More

8/17/2015 - Monday

I FINALLY went to Surviving Sister's Boutique tonight and I am so glad I did!!! What a BEAUTIFUL place and so many wonderful things to admire, appreciate, and, as I found out... BU...Y :) What a great time I had...
..... Everything is in really good condition, displayed creatively and in a fun way. I really enjoyed noticing the tucked-away places things were hiding and how I didn't need to ask the price of something because it all was tagged with pricing and info. I was there almost two hours without noticing how long I had been there. (Honestly, I could have EASILY stayed longer and kept admiring things - and spending more money of course.... happily too.) I look forward to going back very soon and supporting a local business which supports other local business and crafters/artists. ***** I am happy to promote and refer others to SSB *****
