I'm sure some one posted this MEME due to our current political environment, but it really resonated with me in terms of my journey as an artist. I thought I'd share.
When I first started writing, I had a freshman euphoria about the whole process. Then I discovered how bad I was. The best emotion I can assign to this period was panic. I HAD to get better. Immediately. I read books, went to conferences, worked obsessively on my craft until I got my first contract.
Joy. I had ...arrived. If I had been I freshman, I was a graduate now!
Not so much. There are twice as many skills to learn in publishing. I was angry. Angry that I had been duped into believing that there were a finite number of steps to success.
This angry, frustrated period was very destructive to my inner peace and creativity. It was only by throwing off my expectations and learning to wallow in the words that I have rediscovered my initial euphoria.
If you are struggling to create, I encourage you to examine your anger. Then you will be prepared to lead, without any concern for whether anyone follows or not.
I am appalled by the actions of author @Laura Harner. But, I am also horrified by the comments on this article. It takes a lot of craft skill to write a story, no matter the genre. That this plagiarist act is somehow less *bad* because it is in the romance genre is wrong minded.

Love this review from Literary Addicts. Thank you for sharing your reading experience with DRAGONS WILL FALL!
"The chemistry between Cullen and Kas heats up the pages and the sex scenes are steamy but the relationship has a couple of major obstacles…Strong, bewitching characters demand the reader’s attention while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot enthralls readers with lots of suspense, action and romance."
DRAGONS WILL FALL is available to purchase TODAY!
Check this new Contemp #Romance from my author friend, @Jeff Rivera! If you like Nicholas Sparks, John Green or Jodi Picoult, this book will be up your alley. It is an emotional roller coaster that will make you laugh and cry and keep you on the edge of your seat!
