Indeed, ministers offer weddings in churches all over Sutherland

This is incredible! Thankfully there is an alternative for couples in the area and all across Scotland. It will be £300 for a registrar but £0 for a minister. A...LL Church of Scotland Ministers provide their services free of charge for conducting a wedding .... wherever it may be. Church of Scotland ministers are willing to meet with ANY couple in our communities ... you do not have to be a member of a church or have even ever stepped inside one!
£0 for a minister to meet with you, listen to you, write your bespoke wedding ceremony with you, conduct to wedding and we hope that is just the start of your relationship with the minister and church.
Couples can speak with ministers about conducting their wedding in a venue or in a church. Churches are available to be used BY EVERYONE not just members ... there may be a fee to cover heating and lighting, cleaning etc but it is likely still to be less than the council venue fee ... and churches are pretty, not just a big converted office space!
So get in touch. We’d love to meet with you and talk about your wedding. If you need contact details of your local Church of Scotland minister just get in touch or put your postcode into our church finder at http://cos.churchofscotland.org.uk/church_finder/
