What's so bad about bush honeysuckle?

Everything! Bush honeysuckles are non-native shrubs taking over the state. Their dense, shrub-like growth crowds out the n...ative plants and quickly takes over. Birds and animals eat the non-nutritious berries and spread the seeds, causing even MORE bush honeysuckle to grow.

Pulling the plant out (making sure it doesn't re-root) or cutting and applying a herbicide, like glyphosate, directly to the stump will help eradicate this terrible plant.
