THRMVA has changed "Keep Our Valley Green" to Keep Historic Randol's Mill Valley Green". Longer but more brand consistent. We have begun looking for volunteer community educators and passing along information from the City of Fort Worth, Keep America Beautiful, Keep Texas Beautiful and TCEQ, which is Texas' Commission on Environmental Quality. If YOU are interested in helping out, please let us know here.
Also planning to create a Keep Our Valley Green program to promote recycling and not littering in an organized and systematic fashion. Interested residents and organizations are urged to contact us here.
Planning to create a Development Committee for THRMVA that will compliment our work with Council Member Bivens' own similar committee and focus on our area. Interested residents and organizations are urged to contact us here.
Development survey has reached almost 200 return, which is very helpful. Have now launched a restuarant preferences survey. Outcomes from both survey swill help us focus new development recruiting envergies. The Randol's Mill Valley is a great place to live and getting better every day!
Volunteers are needed to help us launch our Keep Our Valley Green Program. KOVG will focus on minimizing litter in our area and on promoting both recycling and beautification activities. This is being done in cooperation with Keep Fort Worth Beautiful and in keeping with Keep America Beautiful/Keep Texas Beautiful guidelines.
Tonight, THRMVA is holding its first quarterly membership meeting. Wish us and all of our attendees God speed and good fortune at a productive and friendly meeting!
We have our organization registered with the Feds and the State of Texas and are working to finalize with the City of Fort Worth. Board members and committee chairs to help with everything from monitoring City Hall to conducting a Cowtown Great American Cleanup function are needed. Bob Horton, Interim President
