I stopped on my way out of town. I like to eat at non chain places when I can. Ordered the wet burrito. It came with nothing but ground beef and lettuce inside. Cheese and a bland red sauce on the top.... The ground beef had no flavor at all. If it would have had some seasoning it would have definitely been better.
As for the chips and salsa they charge you for, please make your own. Stay away from this crappy store bought junk. Tastes like pace picante sauce.

Staff was friendly but forgot about you once you ordered. One of the young ladies prepping actually had to come out to bring me some more hot sauce so I could manage to eat the tasteless burrito.

Next time I'll just go to Chipotle when I'm there. See More

First time ordering and got a vegetarian wet burrito with no cheese. My tongue and mouth has been numb ever since. I know it was this place because I ate the food and woke up to go do something and my... mouth was numb when I woke up and for the hours continued. We decided to stop here on our way back home. I was in the mood for Mexican and they had good reviews on Google. I got the mini wet burrito and my husband got the Tuesday special, two regular burritos.... Now I won't say it was the worst I ever had, but far from the best. I guess maybe I'm a bit spoiled living in a community where there are several family owned Hispanic restaurants. I guess my clue should have been the college kids in the kitchen preparing my meal. I'd say this is comparable to Taco Bell. See More

First time visiting the restaurant with my two daughters. I was greeted with a friendly smile and excellent customer service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Been going to taco boy since the early 90s. My mini wet veggie burrito tastes just as good today as it did back then. Found a hair in my super wet burrito so I hand it off to the girl who delivered my food. Go up to the counter for a refund and the lady at the register says "I need you to bring it up so we can confir...m it's not your hair." Okay? So she sees the blonde hair in my food (I have dark hair) and wants to make another one. At this point I don't want another one so I ask for a refund. I get the refund but receive absolutely no apology or anything. Also, charge for hot sauce and a cup for water. Absolutely junk place. Won't be back See More

Been going here for years. I have visited every location it has moved to around Mt. Pleasant since I was a kid, and now my kids are enjoying it. The food is great, the staff is always friendly and the... hot sauce is on point! They must have friends and family making these reviews, or someone who's never had authentic Mexican. Tried this place for the first time yesterday, and not only was the salsa not complimentary, but I... was charged for gross STORE BOUGHT thick n chunky salsa. You really ought to rethink that or at least tell your customers what they're buying. Pace, great value, Gordon's whatever it was its was disgusting. I've never in my life ate at a Mexican restaurant that didn't have a signature salsa. Very disappointing. See More

We love the taco salad and have gone there for years, however last night when we went the service was incredibly slow. In all the years we've gone there never had to wait so long and there weren't tha...t many ahead of us. My taco salad was great but my husbands had way too much French dressing on it and it gave him heart burn that night. I hope they fix the slow service, when we had finished ours, the number they called was only 3 more from our number and there were other people besides us waiting way longer then I have ever seen for their food. It was horrible! The rice was too salty the beans were dry so dry they were white. We had to wipe off our own table because they were all dirty! Never again my friend never!
