LEADERSHIP ECONOMIC MENTORSHIP HUB (LEMH) PROGRAMME!!!
Tag a Life International (TaLI), a girls and young women’s rights organization is inviting applications from girls and young women who are interested in joining the Leadership, Economic Mentorship Hubs (LEMHs) Harare Programme. The programme aims to build their Voices, give them Agency so that they may create movements within communities to represent their issues. The LEMHs are a programme and platform where young people... learn about Human Rights (Including women’s rights), Leadership, Economic Empowerment, Citizenry Participation, Governance, ICTs, Advocacy and life skills through a 20 week programme.
The facilitators of the training will be successful Zimbabwean leaders from all walks of life who include Human Rights Activists, Successful Business Women and Men, Politicians, Academics and artists among others. A successful completion of the 20 week Leadership training will automatically qualify the young women as LEMHsters who will have access to our Hub anytime for other required resources, further advocacy and networking. They also have to be ready to lead development projects in their own community once graduated from the training.
Girls and young women’s ages 16 to 24 who have aspirations to become leaders as well as survivors of child marriages who are below the age of 24 are encouraged to apply especially from Hopely, Mbare, Hertcliff and Epworth. Female Students in Harare Tertiary institutions can also apply.
To be considered you are require to produce the following:
a) 1 page CV
b) Motivation Letter stating;
- Why you are interested in joining programme
- Why you want to be a community leader
- Your letter should be 150 words max
- Hand written or typed documents will be considered
- Candidates an also provide their CVs on WhatsApp provided it is full hand(no slang or short hand) and sent in one message not multiple messages.
