A year ago THE REVOLUTIONARY FEMINIST HOUSE “LA REVO” was born when a house in the ‘Ovary Gate’ (institutionally known as Puerta del Osario) was occupied as a feminist, not mixed, home and an anti-patriarchal space.
We left that place because the conditions of the house did not fit our needs. Today, after a year of internal work and other activities and actions we announce that we have finally opened a new space for feminist resistance in the city.
...Perhaps some people still do not understand why it’s a non-mixed space. All we can say is that we need it: we need it to build ourselves, our history and our own place; for feminism to get further; we need spaces of critical communication and production of collective thinking; we need a physical free and liberated space, free from oppressive attitudes, where we can strengthens ourselves, know lourselves,care for ourselves and make our struggle gain visibility gain space, multiply and spread.
