Visa card services back to Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union; all in efforts just to try and update billing and mailing address informatio n. Many others within both department s/ companies were quick to transfer the call or ask me to update the informatio n online (which could not be done in this case; due to the nature of the request…th at's an entirely different story). Neverthele ss, Mylez took it upon himself to see a positive resolution by bouncing around in the call queues with me until we had a solid solution to the given scenario. Keep up the great work Mylez. I hope Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union rewards/ recognizes your customer service excellence .

I wanted to open a checking account. I was offered a product I did not want, a checking account for someone wanting to fix their credit. TBFCU wanted to charge me $10.00 a month. I declined and then I... applied for a savings account TBFCU declined me for a savings account but they would have been happy to rip me off by $10.00 a month. A savings account should be one of the safest products for a credit union to offer but these people just wanted to shake me down for cash. Disappoint

g service from Tampa Bay Federal. Just refinanced my truck with them at 1.99%. Kept the same payment but it took 15 months off the term of the loan. In addition I received $600 cash depo...sited into my checking account the same day just for refinancin g with them. The best part is I never had to leave the house. From submitting the applicatio n online to loan completion it only took 3 hours and all done via email. Special thanks to Annabelle for handling the loan so efficientl y and being really nice at the same time.

ed. I immediatel y called back and held again. I arranged to have funds moved from my HELOC to my checking account (something I... would do myself, online, if it was an option). I was assured the funds would be moved by the end of that business day. The funds were not moved Friday. The funds were not moved Saturday. It is now Sunday and the funds have not been moved. This is typical, folks. Be warned.

Anabel Pereira was my specialist ...and she was very awesome, patient and kind! Plus she gave way more than I came in there for(in a positive way). I couldn't ask for better service!

My fiancé and I have been stressing out quite a bit about our credit reports and our accounts with Tampa bay federal due to us trying to buy a house towards the end of this year and when Becky Towers ...answered the phone, it slowly started to disappear.
She was so sweet to work with, and was able to put us at ease. I hope we can talk to her every time we call!!!! What a joy she was to work with!!!
Took forever to get a mobile banking app, now you can't get anyone to answer the phone in less than 20 minutes. Not what it used to be! Been with them for over 20 years and they just keep getting slo...wer. I do get good loan rates and easy approval, they also have many services available to their members. They just need to hire more people to SERVE the members.

I have been a member of the Credit Union for 50+ years, and have never had a problem until now. I cannot log in to my online account. I have done everything
requested on the web site for resetting you...r password and user ID, but it still will not let me log in. If this continues, I will go back to having my statement mailed to me!
Added 3,800 dollars to my car loan claiming I did not have insurance on the vehicle I am financing through them. I provided it TWICE and they still have not removed the excess amount of money for the ...insurance.
Nobody seems to give a crap about helping me when I call. I am sick of this place and can't wait to refinance with someone else once you FIX my loan.

I just asked for a problem. I am a fairly new member with a car loan. So I added a checking account thinking I would transfer all my banking to a Credit Union. 3 of my automatic withdrawal
s came ou...t 2 weeks too early causing me to overdraft on the same day I deposited $700 in to the account. They have charged me $96 dollars on those 3 checks although on the same day the money was in the account. Needless to say, I am not changing anymore banking and going somewhere else.
FYI if you try to deposit more than $3 in nickels, dimes or quarters Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union will make you use the coin counting machine, which charges members 6% and non-member
s 10%. Food for ...thought, you can get a $200,000 home loan at less than 6%. I've been a member for 20 years and customer services and services have plummeted tremendous ly. I will be leaving very soon and encourage you to do the same.
I've had an account with TBFCU since 1992. For the longest time I would sing the praises of this bank to everyone who would listen but over the past few years their service and concern for the custome...rs has absolutely
tanked. Last night, for the FIRST TIME EVER I lost my debit card. I knew immediatel y when in happened and called to cancel it right away. You cancel it through a 3rd party vendor. They cannot request a new card for you. So I called TBFCU directly followed the prompts and was put in a queue "waiting for a representa tive". Turns out they don't have a 24 hour staffed line! I also can't request a new card through an automated phone thing or online. First this this morning (Saturday) I called to request a replacemen t and was told there is a charge for it ($10) and it takes 7-10 business days. If I math this correctly that means I won't receive my replacemen t card until sometime between November 9th and 14th. If this was a true credit card they would have another one in my hands before I even knew it was missing. TBFCU, I get that you are making money by earning interest off of my money but this is utter bullshit. If I didn't have my home loan through TBFCU and I hadn't been with them so long (and it wasn't such a pain in the ass to switch) I would have moved on. Thank you so much for taking an already embarrassi ng, frustratin g, infuriatin g situation and making it so much worse.

tion for a new bank I would suggest any of the big banks. Sure they also have crap service and don't give a rat's ass about your banking needs but at least they don't pretend that they do.
