People talk aboutfamily reunion

Every year we have our women's retreat at Tanglewood
Manor. It's perfect for large group events, family reunions, dinners or a group retreat. The layout is perfect. There is 2 areas on either side of ...the kitchen to eat and in the hallway across from the kitchen there is plenty of room to serve food so that people aren't having to pass through the kitchen while you're cooking. There are 2 stoves, 2 refrigerat e/ freezers, a dishwasher , dishes, appliances like mixers, Bunn and Keurig coffee makers, pots and pans, everything you need to prep food. There is a large "living room downstairs that is set up perfectly for group conversati ons. I was able to set up a projector and screen for our power point slides. (I did have to run an extension cord so that I could do it from a central location in the room) Upstairs there is a large area with a big screen t.v. gaming system, air hockey, ping pong table, pool table and chalk board wall. Each level has a hallway with several rooms. the rooms downstairs have one bed, King and queens and full sized beds, upstairs there are rooms with queen, full and twin sized bunk beds. there is an outside sitting area where you can grill or sit around a fire pit. There's a slide, basketball court and play area for the kiddo's or those of us adults who refuse to grow up. Almost ever bedroom has it's own bathroom, plus 3 "common" bathrooms are available to everyone without having to go to someone's room and a laundry room. It is very nicely decorated, very homey and relaxed feel. The only things I would change is that it would be great if you could park a little closer to the door when bringing a lot of stuff in like food for a large group and it would be nice to have an electrical outlet on the post where the light switch is in the downstairs living room. Although you probably won't get a cell phone signal there, internet is available and there is a landline phone. We've been going here for several years and plan on continuing to do so. You won't be disappoint ed!
Great place! We have a very large family and it can be very difficult to find a place that will allow us to stay together. This place had everything
that we wanted: 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, game ...room, large living room, volleyball , basketball court, toys and games for kids ect. Very spacious and a lot of character in the Manor. They have done a fantastic job of turning this into the perfect getaway. Just a few negatives: spiderwebs around baseboards , handle on one of the bathroom toilets sticks, and a smell in a upstairs and downstairs bathroom. Also, a huge hole in the wall upstairs. However, these are not issues that in my opinion warrant losing a star. We had a great time and we can't wait to come back!
We had 27 people from ages 7 to 73. Room for everyone. The game room was a hit after dark. The outdoor sport area was very nice, especially
the 60' slide. The kitchen is VERY well stocked. Loved the ...scriptures on the walls. We were very impressed with the house. Thanks for offering something so nice for family get aways.
This is amazing place! If you are looking for a massive house to just get away this is the spot! It is beautiful inside and out! The kids has a blast along with all of the adults! The beds are super c...omfortable
and the kitchen accommodat ed all of the chefs in our family! We had a family reunion here and it was so enjoyable to be together but yet still have plenty of room so we weren't on top of each other! Such a great weekend and can't wait to book again for next year!!! Excellent place!
