Four years ago, when CB was learning to play blues, Mike Magers at Smittys Service let CB play Tasty Truck Tuesday's at Smitty's Service...and tonight the torch... is passed. My son Beaux and his band Hollywood Stock Exchange will be playing live original music tonight starting around 6 p.m. If you are around Normal Heights I hope I see ya!
Time for the Tasty Truck Tuesday's at Smitty's Service reunion this Tuesday! Opening set by Chickenbone Jr.'s band Hollywood Stock Exchange-gonna be just like old times! Hope to see a buncha Biscuits sitting in-it's blues dammit!
Remember the good 'ol days when Chickenbone was playing every week at Tasty Truck Tuesdays?
This coming Tuesday the 25th he's putting on a concert here on the Smitty's lot. Food trucks, Neighborhood bonding and Electric Blues.
Don't miss it!
When CB was just getting his feet wet guitar-wise, the first real gig he had was at Tasty Truck Tuesday's at Smitty's Service with his friends Nick Walsh, Kurt ...Kalker, Scot Smart and Pete Fazzini. Since then he's played a few gigs, and now he's going back to the scene of the crime this Saturday Sept. 24 at the Adams Avenue Street fair at the Hawley Stage about 100 feet from where this photo was taken. Chickenbone Slim and The Biscuits are Mike Chiricuzio on Bass, Bruce Stewart on drums, Troy Sandow on Harp and original Biscuit Pete Fazzini on guitar. We are on stage at 2:45-hope to see y'all there!
