Techchix welcomes you to welcome DotAfrica arrival in Arusha. Dot africa registry is conducting a roadshow campaign this month and the team has been driving from South Africa to Addis Ababa through Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya. While in Tanzania they plan to mount the dot africa flag at the top of mt. Kilimanjaro. Before that they would like to meet and inspire the young people of Arusha on Internet contents localization on 14th Jan 2018. KARIBU! So many IT people deviate from their careers after college due to different things. Techchix was honored to share with IAA students ways that could make them stick to their IT careers, how to survive in the careers and how to excel in them.

Tanzania National Youth Assembly is a Youth Transformational event that brings together talented young people from across Tanzania and East Africa with a vision, mission and passion in Entrepreneurship, Human rights, Education, Environmental issues, Politics and sustainable development. This years event had the FOCUS ON PEACE, GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP AND SUSTAINABILITY.

FREE I.T. ENHANCEMENT INITIATIVE WORKSHOPS

Hi guys,
We have been conducting free I.T enhancement trainings in Arusha, Tanzania since march 11, 2017, and i think i worth sharing so that more people can attend the training. The training covers the following topics Networking, Web Development and Adroid Apps Development. Networking class have 10 sessions as below,
1. Introduction to Networking
2. VLANs and switching
3. Introduction to routing (OSPF and BGP)
4. Firewalls and VPN
5. Introduction to IPv6
6. Monitoring and Troubleshooting
7. Virtualization and into to Cloud services
8. Networking Services part 1- DHCP,NAT,PROXY
9. Networking Services part 2- DNS and Mail Services
10. Networking Services part 2 - Webservices and Databases
Session 1 up to 4 is already covered, the next training will be on 15th July which will be on IPv6. The training includes theory and lab sessions, the platform used for labs are Mikrotik, Cisco, Windows and Linux.
Web development has four sessions, two sessions are already covered, will updated on when will be the last two sessions.
Basic Android Apps development sessions has two sessions,
1. Basic Android Apps Development
2. Advanced Android Apps Development
Will update when the two adroid apps development sessions will be covered.
