Dallas TARA President George Nolan details his journey with a serious heart condition which calls for expensive medications in order for him to live. He’s now in the prescription Donut Hole far earlier than ever before and must pay $5100 out of pocket for the year. As he said, “There’s no cutting my meds in half or anything like that or I’ll die. Thankfully I can manage the cost, but way too many others can’t and they die.”
