A couple of days ago a thought occurred to me, that maybe some of the people who have been reading my book, via this Facebook page, might have some of their own “weird” experiences to tell about, just as I have done in "The Psyche as Interaction".
As I have mentioned, my “weird” experiences, AKA altered states of consciousness, happen all of the time. The first one (OBE/out-of-body-experience AKA astral projection) that I consciously remember happened when I was 2½ years ol...d.
I have experienced telepathy (knowing what someone is thinking), telekinesis (the mind moving an object or shattering it), clairvoyance (knowing that an event is about to happen), empathy (actually physically experiencing the emotions of someone else), and observing the pixel-by-pixel build up of the unconscious/subconscious part of our minds as it constructs the holographic image (which we call 3-D reality), during the .8-1.2 second lapse of consciousness.
Even though I would tell friends and relatives about my paranormal experiences (and they would relate some of their own experiences too), I still wanted a “framework of understanding” to explain the presence of psychic ability in everyone, hence my book.
Most psychic experiences are subtle, i.e. the hairs on the nape of your neck twitch, or a chill that runs down your spine, or a sense of “déjà vu” when you meet someone new. And since we are all psychic (some more willing to admit it than others), I wondered if anyone wanted to share their experiences?
