Former dishwasher. This place is very clean in the back, and that is not a compliment I extend lightly, having worked at many places prior. I believe the price to quality of food is not ideal, and tha...t is the one and only reason I don't eat there often anymore. But the food is still great, and the owner will often bend over backwards to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. You can get better food for cheaper at other places in town, but they still have the best pizza in town IMO. If you want a good pizza, this is the place to go. Their coffee and ice cream parlor is also the best in town. This is definitely somewhere worth visiting, especially in summer when you can sit outside. This restaurant has the most spacious outdoor dining of anywhere in town and is much less "rowdy" than the other places with outdoor dining. Entire restaurant is extremely family friendly. Probably the best place in town to eat with children. In the recent past, there have been some issues with quality control, but these have been largely resolved and I urge you to try it again before condemning it completely. This is a good, solid place worth eating at. They have a lot to offer that other places don't. See More

We usually order to go, but We decided to dine in on 6/21 & server yelled back to kitchen that a 4 top was in. Kitchen responded with a 'dammit!' Our fries were undercooked, wouldn't serve soup b/c "t...hey were closing soon" (but not closed yet). My sandwich was a soggy mess, I picked it apart and ate the acceptable pieces (as a previous server, I would NOT have brought that food to one of my tables). Server was cold to us, but warmed up once it was closer to time to leave. First time I had tipped under 20% in. LOOOONG time. Show some professionalism guys. If you close at 8, you are open at 7:48. It is the restaurant industry and shouldn't be shocking when a table walks in if you are open. See More

Generally very impressed with this place, however, tonight it took us over 50 minutes to get our food after placing the order. The waitress (Morgan) came to tell us that the food would be about 5 mor...e minutes, and did not give any reason. Food finally came, and we asked for ketchup and mustard. The waitress was past our table several times and did not acknowledge us or bring us the ketchup or mustard. We had to finally come get our own condiments. She ignored us for the rest of our time there. We did not get asked if we needed any refills or any other items. She did not bring us our ticket either. We finally went to the front counter to get our own ticket and the gal at the front counter was short with us as well.

The food was really good, service needs work.

We drive 2000 miles from Arizona just for The Village Square's "Kitchen Sink" pizza. Well, maybe that's not the only reason, but it is the best pizza.

Not like it was when Gary ran the kitchen. Have been there 3 times since the sale. Was hoping it was just a bad day with pizza we got - it wasn't. Same the other times too. Hardly any cheese on it... at all and the crust was tasteless. Our other complaint - the soup specials. Where's the chicken dumping soup on Wednesdays that we've all come to love?? Not impressed and very disappointed. We loved this restaurant. Not so much anymore. The menu is what made this place popular and successful. Ever heard the phrase if it ain't broke don't fix it?? Leave the menu and the way foods are prepared exactly the way Gary did it and if you want something different added to the menu then do that. See More

Ordered a mushroom and pepperoni and the mushrooms were only on 5 pieces of the pie. How illiterate could you possibly be?
