AES Colón, the first natural gas-fired power generation plant in #Panama and #Central America, successfully raised the roof on the #LNG tank. This is a major milestone for the construction project which will help accelerate a cleaner energy future in Central America.

Este techo, que pesa má...s de mil 600 toneladas, fue elevado hasta la cima del tanque con aire generado por cuatro ventiladores. El tanque tiene una capacidad de 180,000 m3 que equivale al volumen de aproximadamente 72 piscinas olímpicas; tiene una altura de alrededor de 52 metros, el equivalente de un edificio de 17 pisos.
