Artwork and animation by Erica Glover- Produced and directed by- J Hacha De Zola. Finally put the very last final touches on it! DONE! ITS DONE! The Video will DEBUT for the very FIRST Tedx Jerseycity event on November 23! "Spheres of Identity and Influence" It is a completely animated piece- A long distance collaboration over emails between Canadian Artist Erica Glover and Jersey City, NJ, musician J Hacha De ZoLa... "Ericas artwork was introduced to me by a good buddy, Eli Kent. I really loved the very organic-colourful quality of her work, I felt it was perfect for this song.... I decided that i would blindly reach out and ask her the following: "CAN YOU MAKE YOUR ART DANCE FOR ME?" Erica had never animated anything before.... But she was up for the challenge! (luckily for me) I went over her portfolio and decided that i would somehow make a story line from this collection of images... and Erica would make them dance for me.... I feel that the song really needed some exceptional imagery to truly capture the feeling properly... But what did we want to say?! Whats the message here? I wasnt sure yet... The one thing i DID know- Was that i wanted to tell a story... I didnt want a run of the mill type music video where the members of the band stood around in idiotic poses...trying to look tough or cool *puke* I want this collection of dancing images to elude to something grand... A wonderful marriage of ART and MUSIC! With a range of feeling and ideas and colour bursting through.... There is a message here....but i wont tell you what it is... I will let you all....find your own meaning to this... Over a year in the making...We worked on this thing through Hurricane Sandy- Blizzards-summer heatwaves and more.... I am beyond proud of this work..." I would like to thank my wonderful Vera Vixeness for all Her encouragement and for tolerating my endless barrage of stylistic questions! Thanks to John Fathom-Artist for also encouraging me and pushing me to complete this thing! a very SPECIAL THANKS to the wonderful Alicia Ruth for being my staunchest supporter and a true soldier for our artistic cause! Your kind words of encouragement truly were instrumental in helping me bring my vision into fruition! AND helping me get this very special work in front of the eyes of an entire CITY- Jersey City, New Jersey!! And finally- Many thanks to Brother Eli Kent! If it wasnt for Him, NONE of this would have been possible! We love ya Buddy!!

tHe AuDiObOdiEs debut their NEW MUSIC VIDEO!

The AudioBodies- FREE!

This Saturday, Nov 23rd!

Tedx Jerseycity!!!
We are very excited to have the Audiobodies performing alongside the debut of their brand new music video for their song "Free".

After years of performing in the New Jersey/New York City music scene, musician J. Hacha De Zola met vocalist... Wyme (pronounced "Why-Me") in a small subterranean music venue, below a grungy Jersey City bar, amid plastic lawn furniture and flickering tea candles. Hacha De Zola was the house guitarist and Wyme was the featured vocalist/poet of the evening. The pair formed an instant bond as Wyme stepped up to the microphone, and The Audiobodies were born that night.

With energetic performances and spiritually conscious lyrics, The Audiobodies combine Wyme’s smooth soulful vocals and harmonies with Zola’s alt-rock guitar style. The result is urban world music with tinges of psychedelic rock and soul. Meer weergeven
