If you know the Musical Godspell, you now know why I think this lady may be the Christ.
Some Beards and friends are putting up a Holidy Improv show:
July 10th and 11th: Friday and Saturday night at 7pm. The Beards have shouldered the earth shatteringly monumental task of producing two nights of improvised comedy.
The Beards Are:
Samuel Silas Maximus Garles, Collin Miller, Zach Dean, Eden West, Jesse Cole Bailey, and Benjamin Webb...
We're doing it all for you.
Tickets cost 7 dollars. They can be purchased online if you're willing to pay the exorbitant processing fee of twenty cents. It's the price of modern convenience.
And boy is it easy! Comedy has never been so convenient. Escape the inconvenient tyranny of comedy broadcast via cable, satellite, wi-fi, and 3G LTE networks to any place at any time. The Beards Comedy Troupe have invented a new kind of entertainment. It's at a specific time and place and you have to be there to experience it. You don't even have to figure out how to program your VCR for this show, or for that matter, struggle to remember what the heck a VCR even is.
We just got tickets printed up and delivered to the Orpheum Theatre box office. You can buy them in advance there any time the box office is open.
OCT 3 and 4, THE BEARD IS BACK! 90 MINUTES OF LIVE COMEDY @ 9pm. Only 7$!
Bun House samples on tap! Beer flights to eat! A beer 'Journey' of four German/Belgian beers paired with 1/4 samples of each of The Bun House's specialty hot dogs for $8! Or you can get any one of the four beers paired with any one of the specialty hot dogs for $8!
Saturday October 4th the beer specials and hot dogs will be offered again!...
Join our event here to let us know to expect you. We'll roll out the welcome mat.
After a little tweaking, we're finally ready to let you guys see our entry into the 48 Hour Film Festival, where we placed in the top 15 entries and won Best Sound Design! (This film was completely improvised, from sound to script.) Let us know what you think, and enjoy!
How was your weekend? Good? Did you make a movie? No? Well we did!
Via the 48 Hour Film Project we *improvised* the script and score for a short film and shot it within 48 hours.

Hello friends of The Beards. We're excited for our next show and had some details we wanted to share with you.
We've invited some friends to join us on the Orpheum Theatre stage....
On Friday Night we'll be joined by musical comedy duo The Openers. They hail from Rockville, Iowa.
On Saturday Night we'll be joined by Fairfield native David Philips and two other comedians we're having packed and trucked in from Chicago.
In addition to that, on both nights we'll be staging the sort of improvised comedy you'd expect from us.
Here's some fun details about our guest comedians, hope to see you there
The Openers were born from a heavy metal dragon egg that hatched wicked twin acoustic guitars named Aretha and Diana. Those guitars searched the earth for two individuals twisted enough to create the kind of music that would make a hooker blush. After thousands of years, those individuals were found amidst a pile of empty beer cans and pizza boxes. They are now here to rock your face back and to the left - then off.
With an absurdist view on pop culture John Eide has been making a name for himself throughout The Midwest. Whether it is waxing philosophical on being newly married or just a different look at comic book superheroes John finds the absurdity in everyday life. He has opened for Geoff Tate (Craig Ferguson), Willie Farrell (Showtime) and Tim Northern (Arsenio Hall). His wife may be a real doctor but John shows that laughter really is the best medicine. (Disclaimer: laughter is not the best medicine, if you need medical help go to a hospital not a comedy club.)
Matt is a human in flesh, but not for long. Oh wait, that isn't him, its 'Mr. Wendal' from the 90's song 'Mr. Wendal' by the afro-centric band Arrested Development. Matt is a comedian who took part in the Limestone Comedy Festival and TBS Just For Laughs. He also likes fudge.
Born and raised in the state of Iowa where he started doing improv and stand up comedy. Now based out of Chicago he has performed at The iO Theater, the Playground Theater, and countless other independently produced showcases all over the Midwest.
Thank you to everyone who came out for another great show! We appreciate all of you for just the way you are. Which is more than you can probably say of your parents. See you again soon
Are you ready to get weird with the beards?
