I believe there is something beautiful in cultivating creativity daily. I've always felt the spark to create even if and especially when I wasn't the best at what I wanted to create. In high school I decided to take art classes on a whim, I am still not the best artist, but I learned a lot and really loved the release I felt when painting, drawing, etc.
I rediscovered that love for creating in a visual media college course. I took such pride in that work, even if it was only creating a stationary set for a made up business or a fun photoshopped image.
It came again as I was decorating my first home. I loved doing things with my hands and making my home pretty. I painted and crafted and created so many fun things for my home.
Then I started my blog in 2012 and eventually added the tagline - celebrate and create. I've always aimed to celebrate myself and create each day.
Some days my creations are small, sometimes they are a loaf of bread, a piece of hand lettering, a doodle, etc. And that’s okay. I aim to create big and small.
And then the days like the other day come to mind, when I had a vision for a project, and as I started to execute it, I could tell it was not going as planned. I decided to finish it up and I really didn't like how it turned out, but I did like the feeling of accomplishment that still came as I finished it and learned from the mistakes I made. I had picked too large of a brush, I should have painted the house white and done black lines. But I didn't. I still was able to flex my creative muscles, even though it wasn’t what I envisioned.
What is your favorite way to create???

As long as the series is all completely published so no waiting in between 😂😂😂
In my stories today I’m talking about time blocking for productivity.
In the spirit of organizing and productivity, id love to know if you use a planner, a notebook, google calendars, notes on your phone or another app or program to keep your days, tasks, and appointments organized?
Personally I use some sort of a hybrid but mostly paper and pen to keep my life straight. ...
I think it’s most important to find a system that works for you rather than what works for someone else.
