Building instructions for this MOC coming soon !
This Transformer was built from LEGO set: Creator 31074 Rocket Rally Car.
Initially it took me 2 days to complete, but I decided to take another day to improve... the weak pelvic joints with a more stable design and also streamline its color scheme.
If you like what you see here, grab that set now from your local store and return to my page again /visit my blog this weekend to get the building instructions!

LEGO Transformer Dragon Boat revealed!
Once upon a time ,a mysterious alien robot (name unknown) crash landed on Earth long time ago and decided to disguise it...self as a dragon boat in a peaceful village somewhere. Over the centuries.. only a handful of humans had seen him in robot mode.
> This MOC measured about 50 studs in length
> This boat can seat more than 10 passengers , 4 more standing, and few more holding on to the dragon head.
> Boat transform into a very articulated robot with martial art skills.

See me transform my LEGO Optimus Prime !
A simple project to end the fiscal year
New project sneakpeek!
After exhausted my braincells from building complicated LEGO Transformers, suddenly I felt like making something much simpler to pass m...y time for the remaining of this year.
What you see here are the outcome from my 5 hours "labor" spanning over 4 sessions
Surely for those who are Transformers fans.. do give a shot on guessing which character I am attempting this time.
Hint: I think I need a bigger windshield.
Rodimus Prime from Transformers cartoon series is the leader of the Autobots and transform into a futuristic vehicle with a trailer. His trailer also turns i...nto a weapons platform .
Took me about 3 month's in the making, my MOC of Rodimus Prime goes even further with me bestowing him with tons of weaponry in his base mode, and fair number of articulations for cool poses.

The final chapter of my project Rodimus Prime. Photos and video of robot mode is finally here, guys!
Are you ready for Roddy ?
It's time to roll out, Roddy....
My tripod (with phone mount) finally arrived in the mail . So I put it to the test this morning by taking a video of my LEGO Optimus Prime from The Last Knight. Enjoy!
Project #Rodimus revised head transformation.
In my previous FB post, I mentioned about solving the head clearance problem in my project #Rodimus. But actually the effort to "wiggle" his head out of the v...ehicle still require some twist and turns.at the right angles.
Feeling frustrated again.. I revise the whole design for that part . Instead of placing the neck joint at the front, it's now placed to the back, by means of implementing an extra swiveling mechanism.
I am supposed to wrap this up 2 days ago but there's a backpack malfunction I need to address for this guy. (one of the kibble pops out after I forcefully transform his back)
Project #rodimus final work-in-progress update!
This will probably be my last posting on project #rodimus update while waiting for my bricklink order to arrive with needed parts.
He is shown back to back with... mp Hot Rod. The 2nd photo showed how the before and after comparison of the back kibble when its raised up. A lil clearance required causing the yellow wing to be slightly tilted up.
I thought it was a goner when I discovered my phone's camera failed to launch bout 5 days ago. So it was OK yesterday. Before it died on me again, let me updat...e you guys with a few photos of project #Rodimus I snapped this morning .
1) A tight squeeze but the vehicle fits one minifigure with a cap. And the vehicle bonnet opens to store the Matrix
2) I'm building myself into a corner again. The space for robot head is highlited in placeholder blue bricks. The final task of building his head will be challenging
3) Some of the intakes located at the side of the vehicle is shown under the armpit of the robot mode. Roddy's yellow spoilers on his back are raised up slightly to let those intakes to go under and over , pointing upwards.
Over and out!
LEGO Rodimus Primal. Anyone?
It's been a pretty slow week when it comes to my LEGO activities especially the ongoing project #rodimus .
While waiting, here's a throwback to my previous LEGO... Rodimus Primal (yes, Primal) I made about 5 years ago.
On retrospect...I regret forcing a 3rd "beast" mode out of him which was purely an afterthought. And his trailer-to-jet mode was not elegantly designed . (getting the cannons at the back of trailer to fold and then mount at the vehicle front is a 30-stud journey, so many hinges were involved going under the vehicle)
For transformation photos and writeups.. as usual hit my blog ! thanks.
