Brandie is a cheeky Border Terrier aged six in Wyton, Hull (HU11).
Brandie is looking forward to meeting some new volunteers to walk him during the week. He’s not too keen on going out in the dark, but so loves his walks and is missing them since his owner isn’t very well at the moment.
If you are free during the week and would like to take Brandie out, exploring the local area, please register as a volunteer at www.cinnamon.org.uk/volunteers, call us on 01736 758 707 or email appeals@cinnamon.org.uk

I’ve been volunteering as a dog walker for about 6 weeks, I have 2 dogs that I walk, a little JRT x for a lady who, for health reasons cannot walk him anymore and I have recently started walking a gor...geous lab for a lovely man whose wife is sadly in hospital, and he can’t manage alone.

The Cinnamon Trust is a wonderful charity, helping elderly and poorly people keep their furry friends is so important. I love walking the dogs, and talking to their owners.

You can commit as much or as little time as you want, and it is so rewarding. I love my little doggy friends.

Well done to everyone involved at The Cinnamon Trust, you’re doing a top job. And if anybody is thinking of signing up to volunteer, stop thinking and just do it. You’ll love it.

I’ve been a volunteer for around 18 months and have walked a number of dogs (Buster, Poppet, Mable, Salty and now Misty. I decided to volunteer after the Trust supported my Dad when he was dying of ca...ncer. I love every minute of my walks and the friendships I have built with the owners and their families. If you love animals, I thoroughly recommend signing up. See More

Have you got room on your sofa or by the fire for one of these lovely cats? They have been the love of their owners, always there and a great deal of support to them throughout their lives. We have a number of cats in their teens who are looking for a home to live out their days. As Cinnamon Pets, we will pay all their pre-authorised veterinary bills, provide access to a 24 hour help line and holiday cover as well So if you have room to take one of these lovely cats, please email moira@cinnamon.org.uk with your details. Thank you!

Benji has a new home - he's moving to Essex!. He is a lively little chappie who is eager to learn and find his feet in a new home where all the care, love and security can be shared with him. He isn’t really one for the camera, prefers to point in the opposite direction, but we are sure that this will change in time! He gets along well with all the dogs he has met, but has no experience of cats. If you feel that you have the time and “Terrier” experience to share with Benji, together with the support of The Cinnamon Trust, where all pre-authorised vet bills will be paid, access to 24 hour help line and holiday cover as well, please email appeals@cinnamon.org.uk with your contact details.

Are you a Terrier lover? Can you offer a home for life?

We are looking for experienced loving homes across the country for our “Gang of Four”! We have a feisty Border Terrier (7) who needs clear direction and boundaries, currently in the West Country; Meg (9), is a typical terrier girl in Devon, can be a bit spikey with other dogs. Poppy, (7) in Dorset, suffers from a bit of separation anxiety and may have the odd accident, and finally Dexter (11), in Hampshire, who isn’t that keen on other dogs and requires special daily medication. As these are Cinnamon Pets, all pre-authorised Veterinary bills will be paid for by The Trust, access to 24 hour helpline and up to four weeks holiday cover. If you are interested please email moira@cinnamon.org.uk with your interest or for more information! Thank you!
