Every single person alive today should listen to this, pause and take part in charting a different path away from globalization. I would advocate for civil society in countries of the South to rise to... the localization bandwagon and mobilise to force our leaders to change course in favour of localizing their economies starting with redirecting subsidies to local production and sourcing. The potential to create a more peaceful and caring world where everyone can lead meaningful lives by just being who they are without pressure to become like others. See More

What a gift to hear Helena Norberg-Hodge speak in Santa Fe at the Economics of Happiness Conference this weekend. Many marvelous presenters, but somehow Helena gave me the big global picture and move...d my soul. I really understand what is happening in the world in a new way, and I am inspired to assist humanity and the earth with more integration and strategy. Thank you, and many blessings.
