The most recent state to pursue single-payer is the left-wing Mecca of California, via a plan that carried a projected price tag of $400 billion…twice the entire annual budget of the state. It was so preposterous that even a few state Democrat lawmakers noticed and questioned the scheme’s viability…but, being California, the Dems who temporarily noticed they were members of an insane asylum were two few to actually stop the bill.

This alone will go a long way toward healing the disasters of the last 8 years!

The average leftist presumes to know your self-defense needs better than you do. He knows what is comfortable to shoot, what situations you will encounter in this life, how many attackers you may encounter, and what limits are “acceptable” for you to deal with during those times.

This is all part of an effort to convince people that governments must act because the fate of the world is at stake. It’s just an excuse the feds can use to get their hands even deeper into your pockets.

If it’s not your “health,” it’s the planet’s. If it’s not your country’s demand for livestock, it’s India’s. If it’s not your problem, its your grandchildren’s. If it’s not sugar, it’s meat. These environmentalists seek to tax your behavior, and they’ll use any silly old excuse to justify it.

December 14 will be the 218th anniversary of the death of George Washington, the Father of our Country. Even history buffs and political junkies might not be aware of the grim, remarkable details of the very end of his time on earth.

Since when do impartial reporters care what the “right” economic agenda is? Since when do they give presentations formally identifying with one side or the other with words like “we”?
