A little update as it's been quite lately due to my massive work load. The Gatekeeper 32page illustrated pitch will be printed this week and being shipped out that following weekend. My apologies on the delay there on that. I have printed a few extra copies for any late newcomers too. Also I am working hard on hammering down the fully completed story and I am very happy with the process. One way or another, you will see the full story of The Gatekeeper.
After discussions with some friends in the movie biz, I have been advised to not make The Gatekeeper public just yet. If I have any hope at all of this ever getting picked up by a film studio, they need to feel like they are first ones to see it. So as of now I will be printing only a few copies just for some select friends. If you want to buy a signed copy of The Gatekeeper 32 page fully illustrated movie pitch, it will be £7 shipped anywhere in the world, please PM me.
Just a quick update: The very hastily printed version of The Gatekeeper went down well in San Diego Comic Con but I was asked by a well known publisher to improve the lettering and resubmit. I took this opportunity to teak a few things which i why have not sent out any copies. The new copies I did get done weren't of the quality I wanted. So once i sort out the lettering, I will be making The Gatekeeper available to buy as a printed thing or as a digital comic and the big push to movie studio's begins. The latter I need to learn how to do. A brief one lined description of The Gatekeeper has just been sent to a movie studio which is exciting and the spotify playlist is also getting an update. So it's all happening, albeit just a little slower than I would like.
A new poster (because you can never make too many) for my 24 page fully illustrated graphic novel/movie pitch, The Gatekeeper....which I am currently refining just a little and will be free for all to read very soon. Maybe by Xmas.
The Gatekeeper is now with a major magazine editor for review. The feedback from some authors I sent it to was superb, from "I think you really have something here" to "you have all the major beats that are full of intrigue". So lets hope the publisher that I have always loved will be just as impressed.
My movie pitch, The Gatekeeper went down very well at San Diego Comic Con 2017. I got two promising leads, one for movie and one for print as well as handing them out to highly creative people that is respect that I hope to give me feedback. But I was told that my lettering needs work so does anybody know a good comic book letterer that can help me clean things up before I do the big batch for world distribution?
