Can't recommend Highland Manor, Bonnie, and the rest of the staff enough. I had a picture perfect wedding because of them. The food, venue, and staff was amazing. I love that they offer a butler for t...he wedding party so we could enjoy the cocktails and appetizers while taking pictures. When a cold front came through and my bridesmaids were wearing strapless dresses, Bonnie and Gion gave the girls warmed blankets. Bonnie has the perfect balance between being a friend, but also getting the job done well. Gion, our butler, made sure we were never without food or a drink, and he even bustled my dress for me! Unfortunately, I️ did not have the experience that other people had with this venue. I️ have never been nickel and dimed so much in my entire life and it’s shocking to me the way my experience has bee...n handled. Following my first dance, our DJ announced that our tables would be released to go to the buffet stations. Yet shockingly, the food was not out. All of my guests sat around for 20 minutes while there was zero communication between the banquet staff and my wedding coordinators. Finally, the DJ decided we should do toasts to fill the awkward silence. Then, after the toasts had finished, there was still 15 minutes that we waited around until the food finally came out. While this doesn’t sound like a lot, 35 minutes counts for quite a lot of time when your entire wedding lasts from 5-10pm. When I️ tried to speak to the venue owner, he told me I️ shouldn’t have hired my own coordinators. Like I’m going to only have a day off coordinator provided by the venue when I️ have so much more going on that I️ need help with?! Obviously this venue doesn’t know how to work with others. They pretty much blamed my coordinators for them not handling the timeline, when really the issue was that the food was not ready on time. And do you think they offered me a cent back? Nope, nothing. They told me to “agree to disagree.” I️ gave them the opportunity to make it right and they weren’t interested. While this venue is beautiful, I️ wouldn’t recommend them if you have your own coordinators since they obviously don’t play well with others. They told me that they didn’t know the food was supposed to be out after my first dance because no one told them. What a joke. There was a printed timeline that made it very clear that food was supposed to be out following the first dance. Our day of coordinator provided by the venue was hardly around the entire day. Not only that, but they charged me $150 an hour to get ready at the venue! I️ Work in hospitality, and I️ can assure you, no hotel would charge for half the things that Highland Manor charged me for. And there were a bunch of communication issues since the venue kept misspelling my last name in my email address, causing me to not receive emails. honestly, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. I️ will say however that our butler Jim was great, he was probably the highlight of our experience with Highland. See More

I cannot say enough amazing things about Highland Manor and the Dubsdread team! The venue is incredible - they have a space for everything. Outside ceremony, inside ceremony, cocktail hour, groomsman ...area, Bridal suite, two bars, buffet space, reception hall! Everything is beautiful and held to the highest standard. The entire staff was so willing to help and respond to emails. Bonny and G and the rest of the team assigned to us worked tirelessly to make our day perfect. Bonny made sure every detail was exactly what I wanted. G our Butler was BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS! He followed us with food and drinks all night making sure we were attended to every step of the way. Anything we needed he did. What a sweet and incredible guy!? The food was amazing - I got so many compliments! The bartenders made the night - awesome drinks! Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at this beautiful venue. The staff was amazing! Super friendly, organized, very helpful, and accommodating. The food was delicious! We were just married at the Manor on Jan. 21st and it was simply fantastic! From the helpful friendly staff, to the creative decorating ideas of our decor, venue beauty, and overall experience was ama...zing. Many of our guests mentioned how it was one of the best weddings they have been too. Classy but fun with an affordable price. Bonny was our day of coordinator and she helped guide us all through the process and responded quickly to our emails and questions. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The 1 location for the ceremony and reception is so convenient and easy for everyone. Our bridal party butler is a great touch that comes with the venue and catered to us the whole evening. He even helped me lace up my dress! They also give you a list of recommended vendors who are familiar with the venue which is a plus. I highly recommend the Manor to have your wedding! My husband and I were married at Highland Manor on March, 13th 2016. My advice to brides and grooms who look at Highland Manor is... GET MARRIED HERE! The entire process was a breeze. Bonny was so hel...pful from day 1. She answered constant e-mails and understood my style and vision from just a few pictures. I had nothing to worry about. There was a 50% chance of rain on the day of our wedding and unfortunately we ended up having the ceremony in the grand ball room. However, I cannot say enough about how amazing the set up crew made it and how quickly they were able to take down the seats outside and setup everything inside! They included all the decorations we were planning to have outside and Bonny made my vision come to life inside. Gian, our personal server was SO helpful and one of the nicest and attentive people I have ever met. He followed us around with drinks and food while we were taking our photos and checked on the girls and guys several times while we were getting ready. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything and anything we needed at all times. My husband and I had never seen service like that! Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food tasted, and how nice the staff was. Most said it was the smoothest and best wedding they had ever been to! Choosing Highland Manor as our wedding venue was the best decision I could've made. See More

When we began looking for a venue we fell in love with Highland Manor after our first tour. They had the perfect space for both an outside ceremony and a romantic indoor reception. Throughout the plan...ning process the staff was kind and helpful always ready to answer any question I came to them with. One of the other reasons we chose this venue was the day of coordination services. We are so fortunate that Corey was our coordinator and we could not be more thrilled with him nor the rest of his team. Meeting with him before hand and getting everything sorted out in advanced was wonderful. The day of the wedding everyone commented on how calm I seemed, and in reality it was because everything was done. All my items were dropped off, all of my arrangements made, and I knew that if anything went from Corey and his team would save the day. After months and months of planning an outside ceremony, it was only appropriate for it to rain on our wedding day. When the time came to have "the talk" Corey walked around the venue with myself and my bridesmaids explaining all of our options. Despite having already set up the reception room, he and his staff transformed the room so that we could use it for the ceremony as well. We had sent some sample pictures of the ideas we had for table design, napkins, etc. The team at Highland Manor went above and beyond in setting everything up, making the reality far better that I had even imagined. Andrew was there to help us throughout the day and night. He did everything from making sure we ate or had something to drink, to helping me feel less like spaz while trying to dance. The rain outside did not dampen a thing, as everything ran without a hitch. Highland manor has to be one of the most beautiful properties in Central Florida. Nestled between rolling hills and large oak trees, this gorgeous historic home was the perfect backdrop for our daytim...e summer wedding. We had our ceremony in the quaint, rustic wedding chapel, which was perfect for our 80 guests. Stepping into the house truly takes you back in time, from the bridal suite to the antique-wood bar in both the ballroom and the cocktail hour area. Our guests loved the food and the entire atmosphere of the place. Our venue coordinator, Bonny, and our personal server, Andrew, made our day great and stress-free. Andrew was very attentive throughout the day; making sure our bridal party (and we) had everything we needed, from food and drinks to luggage in our getaway car.

It was a pleasure working with Dubsdread Catering throughout the planning process. They were always prompt in responding to emails & missed calls. Cory was also very accommodating in scheduling venue tours, especially for our out-of-state family. Dubsdread has strong relationships with many vendors in Central Florida, so it was comforting to know that our vendors were familiar with the layout and the people who worked there. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our venue choice. Thank you, Dubsdread, for helping make the vision for our wedding a reality!

My wife and I had our wedding at Highland Manor on February 26, 2016, and wow… I cannot honestly say enough positive things about this venue and staff. We fell in love with the venue immediately; both... the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful and had an incredible amount of charm. After we booked the venue for the wedding, we then began to love the staff at Highland Manor. The entire staff is very courteous, cares about all your small details, and communication is extremely fast. Bonny was our day-of coordinator and she was out of the world, amazing to us throughout the whole process.
When it finally came to our wedding day, we were even more impressed with the food, service, and staff of the Highland Manor. All of our guests (especially those who have been to many weddings) would not stop talking about how our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to and went on and on about the venue and the food. Best of all, the bridal party has a butler before the ceremony that will get you whatever you need, including drinks. Our butler was Giam, who was incredible. He made sure my wife and I ALWAYS had a fresh, cold drink in our hands the ENTIRE night. We have never seen service like that.
I would highly recommend looking into Highland Manor for your venue. They are first and foremost a catering company, so you know the food is going to be top notch. Everything else is just a bonus, and big bonuses at that. My wife and I were able to make this venue truly ours for our special day, so do not think for a second this is a generic wedding venue.

There isn't a review I can write well enough to express how wonderful this venue is. Besides the BEAUTIFUL property, the staff is completely amazing. My husband and I were married here on 12/20/2014 a...nd we could not have asked for a more magical experience. From our first encounter with this venue, planning was a breeze. We knew as soon as we entered the house that we wanted to be married there, but we could not have predicted how great of a decision it really was. Our coordinator, Corey, was so professional and organized and exceeded every expectation we had when decorating our venue the day of our wedding. He completely took the stress out of our wedding day- because he thought of everything, we literally just showed up to the venue with nothing to worry about at all. The food was mouthwatering and was one of the biggest compliments we got from family and friends after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to have an extraordinary night with an amazing atmosphere, menu, and staff support. See More

Not only is The Highland Manor a stunning venue with incredible historic charm and tons of character, but they have the best staff around! I was beside myself at how attentive and hospitable every me...mber of their staff was to not only me (the bride) but to all of my guests! I received compliments all night about how amazing the venue and staff were.
And a very special thank you to Corey and Andrew (and the rest of the coordinating team) for making my day perfect!
Corey was my coordinator and the amount of attention he gave to all the little details was perfect! He made sure my day was everything I dreamed of and more! Thank you for being there to fix the snafus so I did not have to!
And Andrew was our head waiter and boy did he kick but at his job! He made sure I had everything I needed the entire day, which included following us around the venue with a tray of food and drinks while we took pictures. He is also an amazing dress fluffer! Thank you!
I would definitely recommend this venue 100 x over!
And sorry to everyone else there that night on staff who made everything perfect, I can not remember everyone's name but everyone deserves a special shout out!
