All 3 of my boys were students at Miss Cohens.
They have all aged out of her school, one is off to college and the other two are nearing high school. I am forever grateful for the time they spent lear...ning how to love learning!! Miss Cohen is an amazing teacher that not only teaches academics but also teaches kids how to be good people. See More

After spending only few days at this school, my preteen daughter wants to go to school, I don’t have to
drag her out of bed, she is happy and wants to go to school on her days off and on the weekends!... Seeing her smile and happiness means everything to me!
Thank you for being wonderful !

I am not the first, nor will I be the last to compare Ms. Cohen's approach to that of a child whisperer. With a true mix of instinct, intelligence, patience and creativity, she has enabled my 3rd to thrive academically and to regain confidence, that a year in public school had nearly shattered. She scrubbed off the "tarnish" and my child is literally shining with enthusiasm and willingness. As a parent, very wary with the educational options within our current system, this happy turn is an enormous gift. Additionally, Ms. Cohen is also wonderful with parents...always available and easy going.
Her consistency with student flows over into in her approach with us. (Another huge relief!) She is agile when any discord arises socially, helping my kiddo to learn the value of "peace circle" and preparing him for life's future problem solving. As we approach the end of the year, my son actually uttered that he wished school could last "two days longer"....a pretty huge endorsement from a kid who loves summer! Ms. Cohen's Homeschool is a gem to discover in most every way!

I don't know what we would do without Ms. Cohen's Homeschool Classroom! Miles has progressed so much & absolutely loves to be there. Academically rigorous, socially inclusive, and emotionally respon...sible - I couldn't ask for more for my child. See More

What I saw in Ms. Cohen's classroom was learning by doing, lots of laughter and even more self-esteem than anywhere else. All different ages helping each other and themselves. positive energy abounds.
