Went and saw Nate Bergatzy last night and my cheeks still hurt! We got there early for dinner and were seated close to the stage. Food was good and so was our service! From the beginning being seated ...up until the end of the show we had a fabulous time! See More

My story is so long to tell, I'm gonna just say this and be done. The manager on Sept 2, 2017, during the 5:30pm dinner hour, had absolutely no regard for people with disabilties. My sister who needs ...a heart transplant, and my brother who had a stroke were both asked to sit outside in 100 degree heat. I called ahead 3 days in advance to seek a manager to arrange in advance reasonable accommodations for both. The phone system said I would be called back in the order I called in. Well that never happen at all. I called the night before and was told notes would be put in our file, and we should arrive by 5pm to get us in and seated before the crowd. Whoever the young lady was she was most accommodating. But the next day she was not there and the manager really didn't give a damn about my siblings health situation. Needless to say, I will not support that venue again. Then there was a loud mouth worker who came in the lobby wanting to know who allowed us to enter the building before 5:30pm. He just went on and on to my sister until I spoke up in his same tone, loud and aggressive. The manager actually heard the entire conversation going on and just walked right by into the ticket area where I had to approach him and try to get him to at least school the staff about making arrangements and not following through. Not to mention the unreturn phone call system that is lying to the public to push them off as the manager did me with his uncaring response as I spoke with him. Sure, the venue is nice, but then all of them are. I faithfully attend shows at all the L.A. and IE locations. And the managers at both the other locations have been cordial and attentive to our needs every time we attend a show. We never asked for a free anything, we only asked for our silblings lives to be protected as much as possible as we try to give them a life with their illnesses. Well, you know what they say, payback is a B. Hope he never has to leave his parents or siblings in 100 degree heat when it's not necessary. I guess if one, or both my siblings would have fallen out in the heat he would have walked on by to check on the box office still. Thank you to the Africian American young man at the box office for trying to assist the best he knew how. See More

I absolutely love the new layout of the Irvine Improv but don't care for the menu. I liked the old menu better, wasn't impressed with Umami Burger. I loved the spinach artichoke dip but that's no lon...ger on the menu, that was my favorite! Anyway I still enjoy the time I spend at the Irvine Improv, it's minutes from my home and a nice place to chill. :) See More

First time at the Irvine Improv but overall I had a good time. DL Hughley was the headliner and he was great; Ticket prices very reasonable but the menu is poor and not enough options. Drink prices... were higher than necessary but they were satisfactory. Servers are great. Atmosphere is comfortable and I would definitely go again. See More

We had a great time. The service was exceptional! Our waitress Julie was the best. This is the 1st time we've been to the Irvine Improv and it won't be our last. Thank you for a great night!!

Nice improvement from the previous location, much bigger and better ambiance. The food and service was very good; the "Red Haired Comic" shot was delicious (got that souvenir shot glass!). Went to see... funny girl Iliza Schlesinger and had a great time. Even got to casually meet her cute dog, Blanche, by the entrance! See More

Good headliners, good food, good prices. Even if the comics bomb I leave happy every time. Only thing I'd change is the homogeneous crowd but hey, that's Irvine for you.

I've been here ~10 times.

Went to see Craig Robinson last Saturday. 1st of all they couldn't pull up my tickets so I had to go online to find record of the charge on my Amex. This wasted time getting in and getting good seats...! Next I ordered the chicken salad and it came out not at all like described on the menu (missing cheese, bacon and tomato). Then 3 minutes into the start of the show the electricity went out. The MC went on with his jokes but half of the crowd couldn't hear him without his mic. When Robinson came on the electricity was on but his keyboard wasn't working and this is a big part of his act. It finally came on about 20 minutes in but his whole act was thrown off by that point. Not his fault, felt bad for him and us, the audience that had to sit through the awkwardness that this brought on. The seating arrangement also sucks. Just overall not a very good experience. The evening was for the most part enjoyable and the service and food were also good. We found that the MC and warm up comedian (Toby Hicks) were much more entertaining than the headliner Felipe Esparz...a. The first 30 minutes of Esparza's act were somewhat amusing but the last half was downright crude and NOT funny. He made jokes in poor taste about drug use and domestic violence then turned to insulting and picking on audience members. He was obviously high on something and left us wanting more of Toby! Will look forward to returning but for a different performer altogether! See More

We went to see David Spade. Great entertainment and great room/venue. Nice food/variety and service. It all seems pretty well dialed in. We'll be back again.

My husband and I went to see Marlon Wayan on our anniversary evening. Marlon Wayan performed very well! So, it paid our unsatisfactory feeling about the place.

It was the first time we went to Improv... in Irvine, Normally we went to Improv in Brea or Ontario. We did not like the seating arrangements at Irvine Improv. It's too narrow even for a small person like me. The food is fine and the waiter messed up my husband's order.

We will not go back to Irvine Improv because of the seating arrangement are so uncomfortable!

My hubby and I enjoyed this place so much. My only regret is not getting a picture of Marlon Wayans. We got there early and was told that we could relax at the bar until showtime. When we got in we we...'re escorted to our seats and the night began. The servers were on point. The food was great and the drinks were outstanding. Shantae' (Marlon niece) was the host. She is a comedian and was soooo darn funny. My stomach hurt all night from laughing!!! It was hubby birthday and he had a blast! My only regret is that I didn't have a room booked!

I love comedy. Love to laugh and have a great time every time I go to the Improv. With that said, I went to see Kevin Hart Thursday 18th at 9pm and was excited about everything being that It was the f...irst time I would see his stand up live. Doors were to open at 8:45pm as show began at 9pm. Well, we stood in line until roughly 9:30pm before they finally started letting people in. Now being that I work at The House of Blues, I understand that thing happen that could cause the delay. We got great seats and the staff was friendly once inside. The show itself was all I expected it to be. The one thing that annoyed me was the missing food. I ordered a cheesecake for dessert (which got charged) and NEVER delivered. Sucks cause I was really looking forward to that cheesecake. Food wise it was great. I ordered the "Man Burger" and was satisified. Only reccomendation to everyone looking to attend....arrive early!!
