We are so sad today to say goodbye to Brooklyn, our faithful fundraiser/shop manager/data guru/parts wiz/other duties as assigned person. She has been with The Lift for 3.5 years and has contributed so much to our customers as well as to the growth of the organization. Good luck and traveling mercies Brooklyn. The Lift will always be grateful for your gifts.

Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather...and don't forget to check tire pressure will change by 1 pound for every 10 degree temperature change. Windshield wipers in good condition are vital for visibility when driving in falling snow or sleet. A regularly washed car will keep salt off and the rust at bay. The safest car to drive in the snow is a well-maintained one.

Happy Thursday everyone! Hope everyone is staying safe on the road and getting maintenance done. The car below is an example of a bald tire and a broken strut spring, which make the car unsafe. The bald tire can cause sliding and stopping issues and the broken spring could puncture the tire!

Winter is here! I hope everyone is staying warm and driving safe. We just wanted to give a last shout out to Crazy Good Turns podcast, who featured our story earlier this year. Remember - the more you listen and share before the end of the year, the greater chance The Lift Garage has to gain a grant to make even more cars safe. Even a review or rating on I-Tunes helps our chances! Thank you for what you can do!

"\"Cathy Heying, founder of The Lift Garage, saw that costly car repairs prevented some families from escaping poverty. So she did something unbelievable.\""
