The staff consisting of Ashley and Kailea were not helpful and very rude. Christine was very helpful with processing my application, but due to the inconsistent... staff I will not reside in these apartments. I will not be recommending The Lodge at Southpoint to anyone to save them from having to deal with the rude staff. I have told my coworkers about this terrible experience and they will not be applying there either. The apartments and amenities are nice and the apartment is located in a nice area but without a strong staff this apartment will have a hard time filling their empty apartments. Maybe this is why they are empty? See More

I moved in recently and love living here at Lodge at Southpoint! The office staff was very helpful during the move-in process. They were thorough in answering m...y questions and I'm grateful for that. There are excellent amenities here, especially the gym and pool. It's very quiet and peaceful which is a huge plus. I'm glad I made the decision to move here! I especially want to thank Ashley in the Leasing office for assisting in making sure I had completed all the paperwork and required documents. She demonstrated patience and kindness. Thank you Ashley! I highly recommend Lodge at Southpoint as a new home. 🏡 See More

I absolutely adore living here. This is year 3 for me and I could not be happier. The staff is amazing and very quick to respond. Community is amazing as well a...s the anemities. The area, well a wonderful spot to be located, walking distance to what one should need and access to Tobacco Trail right there. I can actually call my little kingdom home. No noisy residents or neighborhood drama have I experienced the years I have been here. If you can make it work, definitely move here! See More

Don’t live here unless you want your car broken into several times. They REFUSE to get cameras or any other kind of security. They said months ago how they were “looking into it” but since then there have been several more properties broken into.

Great place to call home!! We love the amenities. I especially love reading under the gazebo. My husband and daughter loves the fitness center and the pool. The office staff and maintenance staff are super nice and very accommodating. We love living here!!

Lived here for 2 years while working in Chapel Hill. It is in a great location that is accessible to the highway, easy shopping, and a great place to get to UNC... and Duke. That is where the positive aspects of the review end.

The walls are thin. I could always hear the people living across the wall.

The apartment is small for the price. There are several options that are more affordable in an equally nice area.

The "amenities" are not easily available. The theater is locked and not usable. The computers in the office are old. The bikes are not easy to access. (actually the pool is pretty nice and well maintained)

The staff is awful once you've signed your lease. My wife moved in when I had 5 months left in my lease and they threatened to have any packages in her name being delivered be returned to sender if we didn't go through the hassle (and cost) to add her to the lease.

Your lease is due by the 10th of the month. They add water and other variable fees into your rent, which should be in their by the time you receive your rent bill, but its not. So you have to pay rent twice per month because the staff is too lazy to add that into your account on time. A very annoying inconvenience but not the end of the world. It gets much worse however.

I gave them 4 months notice verbally and via email that my lease was to end and they claimed I never communicated with them and according to their policies they automatically renew your lease without the appropriate communication. They therefore kept my security deposit and sent a debt collector to collect an extra month's rent. Fortunately I was able to show documentation to the debt collector and they cancelled the debt but I never received my security deposit back.

Overall, It was an enjoyable place to live because of the location. The amenities and the apartment were really unremarkable. The staff soured the experience and their greed changed a 3 - 4 star review to a 1.

I have been living here for a year now and my boyfriends truck has been broken into twice in four weeks. As well many other cars in the neighborhood. I do not feel safe to live here and the front office and management has done nothing about it. I would not recommend you living here!

The staff is awesome. So friendly. Super dog friendly with an awesome bark park. The apartment is peaceful and lovely. Walk to the mall or Target in minutes. The bike trail is so nice and pleasant to walk on.

I've lived here for about 3 years now and haven't had any problems. The staff always helps out when I have questions and greet me with warm smiles. Everything is accessible and the mall is walking distance.
