My routine ————————————————
➖ Rinse hair with lukewarm water ➖ Massage shampoo on scalp ➖ Partially dry hair with microfibre towel (so hair isn’t soaking wet, this reduces the water barrier)
➖ Add a lot of conditioner ➖ Detangle using a tangle teezer (starting from the ends)
➖ Rinse out conditioner (with cooler water than before)...
➖ Dry hair with microfibre towel ➖ Add deep conditioner and leave in for 10-15mins
➖ Rinse thoroughly with cold water ➖Dry hair with microfibre towel

The reason for the 2 star review. The two products I have tried I loved. I was looking for a new product line after switching from another AA product company that switched up their formulas after I ha...d been using them for the 8 years I have been natural. The products were the growth oil and the 3 in 1 product that serves as a leave-in, co-wash, and detangler. That slip is awesome.

Why I gave the company overall 2 stars. I was looking forward to their black Friday sale, and had filled my cart up with quite a few thinks. I wasn't expecting the shipping to be almost $11. You know most of the time shipping is free anywhere between $35 and 50 for most places. I noticed in order to get free shipping you had to spend $99! I left all my items in that cart because I was not going try to find $39 worth of items when I had found all the products I wanted to get.

Something told me to look the day after black Friday and to my surprise the free shipping cost was back down to anything over $50 since the hair products were not on sale anymore. I peeped the game. I guess Mane choice isn't something that is going to be my new product line and I have to keep searching. On to the other options I wanted to try. It's unfortunate I really wanted to try the pink lemonade line they suggested I try when I emailed them after telling them what I did try thus far. With the prices yesterday plus some extra stuff I threw in that cart the price was perfect until the S&H. I'm just disappointed. I use this hair care line faithfully and my hair has greatly benefited from it. I'm currently using the hair vitamins and a wide variety of products from The Mane Choice. In the last 3 months my hair ...is showing signs of improvement and growth from being repeatedly heat damaged and shedding. I've never seen so much definition in my hair using any other product. Plus this product smells awesome and it doesn't make me itch. I hear a lot of complaints about the price but I don't see a problem. Every natural hair care line is a little expensive because of the natural ingredients. I personally don't mind paying for healthy hair and will keep purchasing The Mane Choice. See More

I think these products were made to cater to women of color with natural hair..... my daughter and I both have relaxers which processes very easily on our hair; however, Mane Choice products strip ou...r hair of the relaxer by making our hair very dry, brittle, and kinky textured which causes it to shed a lot and causes our scalp to make an abundance of dandruff. We used the the lemonade products which comes in pretty bottles and has a pleasant fragrance but isn't worth the money---I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who has relaxed hair----also, I've found that Sulfate free products doesn't necessarily mean better and/or good for your hair. If you look at most of the results and/or reviews, most of these clients have natural hair that's pretty already and they say natural means healthier so wouldn't their hair grow without these products. I love this company I have been using their products since 2013 and they have not disappointed me. I have seen so much growth by God's grace from using these products and my hair is healthy. I have a...ll the lines that they have created. I have my whole household using these products. I love every line although my favorite is the ancient Egyptian line. I also love how their products do exactly what they say they will. I am and will be forever a customer, their body lines are amazing as well. Although the products are pricy they are worth it because the quality of them is awesome. See More

We love this line! I especially love the light fragrance. My daughter and I have different types of hair texture. I’ve spent way too much $$$ trying to find the right products and experimenting...What... works for me, does not work for her, and vice versa. I love that we can both use this! I've tried the shampoo, conditioner, and revitalizing mask. This is the best product line I've ever used. I have tried lots of other brands as individual products and as a system, but The Mane Choic...e leaves my natural, normally dry, tangly hair soft and moisturized. I use Jane Carter's Wrap & Roll mousse to set my twist outs. With The Mane Choice, I don't have to re-twist to keep the texture and it's pretty good with maintaining the length. Looking forward to trying other products in this line. See More

I has itchy scalp problems along with dry hair for months. Other products i had were not working at all. I had to try The Mane choice.
Wow!! �. I appreciate This company and the products. I recently ...bought the multi vitamin scalp nourishing growth oil, daily restorative spray and daily moisturizer & sealing cream at a local Sally Beauty store. I am all natural and have been having the problem of dry brittle hair no matter what I try. I accidentally picked up the shampoo and conditioner thinking it was something else and fell in love with it... after using it for the first time. I’ve always skimmed over Mane Choice because every new product seems to work the same.. I figured why bother?? Well, this product line is amazing!! I use the 3-in-1 conditioner, biotin gel and growth ...oil. I only do wash n gos. First, immediately after applying the conditioner my curls are popping and soooooo soft. The gel just adds to it. I’ve never had any issues with flaking... just a beautiful wng that lasts 5-7 days. Instead of being a dry ratty mess on day 7, my curly mane is full and STILL soft �. Now that I’ve finally tried it, y’all better not discontinue all these products! See More

So first I tried a curl out with the gel and it was sooooo flaky and nasty but I didn’t want to give up on them because I love the growth oil so I bought the regular shampoo, conditioner, and leave in... the pink lemonade and coconut sherbet and foam and I absolutely love my curl out. I have used a few products the new hydration line and it’s AMAZING!! The shampoo melts my hair instantly! I also have the 3-in-1 leave-in conditioner, co-wash and detangler. I spent nearly $100 on your entire product line, and it was horrible. Luckily my hair is strong, healthy, and resilient, otherwise, this undoubtedly would’ve damaged my hair, and caused Hair loss due ...to tangling. I followed the instructions, as well as the common sense laws of the natural Hair world, but the result was disappointing to say the absolute least. It stripped my hair, and caused it to tangle, not to mention that I have long and thick hair, so the value per use was very low. The vitamins seem to be decent, but only time will tell. Bottom line, I was extremely disappointed with this product line, and I’ll never recommend this product to anyone, nor will I purchase this line ever again. � See More

Disappointing Observation.
I have been using Mane Choice’s Manetabolism hair vitamins for the past four months. I am also using the Growth Oil, the Edge Control and the Heavenly Halo Herbal Hair Toni...c & Soy Milk Pre-Poo. At first the vitamins caused acne but I pushed through that and now it doesn’t break out my skin. I have noticed significant hair and nail growth but it has not helped with the severe thinning that I have on my edges and in the top of my head. Nevertheless, I am committed to using the products. My complaint is that the bottle says 60 capsules and my last two bottles have only contained 59 capsules. It is my hope that my new bottle that I will open tomorrow will contain the correct number of capsules otherwise I will be forced to try your competitor. I wanted to let you know about this and am wondering whether any other consumer has experienced the same disappointment. I don’t feel that I’m being petty especially since at $25.99 per bottle that’s well over $300.00 per year on that one product alone. I believe in your product but I don’t want to be deceived See More

I recently purchased the Pre Poo from Target. OMG! It made my dry super prone to shedding and breakage hair so soft, manageable and hydrated. I have 4 a and b combination hair and 4b/c in the crown. I...t is a lifesaver I think I finally found my magic hair potion. So I used it on my sons 3b and 3c combo hair that tangles so badly after I took his braids down his hair is halfway down his back and he's 4. When I tell you it took all the tangles out and his hair was dry I didn't even have to wet it and it detangled so easy and was super hydrated. Try it you will love it. Worth the price! See More

My girlfriend bought the vitamins and shampoo for herself because she is trying to grow her hair. I was out of shampoo so I used this stuff because it was the only shampoo in the house at the time. Th...is shampoo left my hair completely dry, brittle, and in horrible tangles. I tried to comb the tangles out but my hair was coming out in clumps. My hair was already thin and this product took out so much of my hair. I was devastated and in tears. I have never had this happen and I have used many different shampoos in my hair over the years. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless you want to end up bald. See More
