My mom, daughter, and I stopped there on the way back to DSM last Saturday. It was a wonderful store! The lady, Hannah, that helped us was so nice and full of information. I don't think I ever left a... yarn store with so much inspiration and new patterns to look up! Bought my weight in yarn as well! Thank you! See More

Love this shop. Gale and Hannah are awesome. The Yarns are always so beautiful . I overheard someone saying that there was not one skein of yarn in the shop that she didn't like/love.

Love coming here. Knowledgable staff who are always so friendly and welcoming.
Who else is ready to make mittens? Hannah definitely is ready to teach the upcoming Mitten class -- and we have another one planned for later in the year, in case you missed sign-ups!

Decided I had to tackle this. It was fairly freshly knit therefore not felted, I hadn't darned in any ends in this area, it only involved releasing one side and thus was not risky.

We want to send a congratulations to Marlene on her recent Iowa State Fair ribbons! Way to go Marlene!

Just right! This garter stitch top from Purl Soho will work fast and be ready when you need it! I can see so many possibilities with solid and variegated yarns.

I can see this cap sleeve top by Purl Soho worn under a light jacket or alone. What a great piece for everyone! Imagine the color combinations...

With temps in the 90's how can anyone be thinking of knitting a sweater? Fall is right around the corner and nothing feels as good as a lightweight vest or top on those cool mornings. Start now to enjoy later - the next week's posts will inspire you to CO! Flow by Norah Gaughan

This one is for all those "Swing Knitter's" who took the class or just love this style of knitting. Enjoy!

I haven't forgotten everyone or stopped this page. I have just been overwhelmed with moving to another state. I am finally seeing light at the end of this long unpacking tunnel. I will post again soon and a newsletter is already in progress! Exciting times ahead. Thanks for remaining active and I look forward to chatting with everyone soon.

A little shop on the island of Bermuda! Yes, I have been traveling....

Summer is for sock knitting! If you want something easy to take along on all your summer events or just for those evening/mornings on the patio. Socks are great! You will be glad you have them when the frost is on the pumpkin.
