A wonderful treasure trove of fabulous articles, a stone throw away from Yetminster train station! A plethora of antiques, furniture, clothing and art. I purchased a beautiful watercolour of Guildford... High Street to add to my collection, could have bought many other things. Spotted a fabulous trunk with brass coat of arms which I'll be saving for! The owners were very welcoming and the cafe was warm and cozy, pot of tea served in a beautiful chinese style pot. In summary "A gem of a place" See More

We spotted a marble wash stand tucked away in one of the little shops. And when I say 'tucked away' what I really mean is wedged in a dark corner behind chairs and other small bits of the gloriously u...nderrated brown furniture. Laurie very helpfully over the next few days moved the intrusive items and photoed the wash stand and sent us the pics. We agreed on a price, very reasonable, and Laurie arranged a mutually convenient delivery . It now sits happily in my bay window and is worth every penny. We will be going down again, as the place is full of little gems. Good luck to these new owners , although I don't think they will need it! See More

Antiques Road Trip, Series 16 Episode 5 of 20

It's the last leg with antiques experts and friends Charlie Ross and James Braxton. This being the third occasion the pair have tripped together, with the score currently standing at one each - it's all about D-Day in Dorchester at the deciding auction.

The open road has brought them and their little red Alfa from the Garden of England to the wonderful West Country. This leg will see them visit antique shops in Somerset, Devon and Dorset and enjoy a quick dip in the waters of the English Riviera. Expect mind games, thrilling sword play and an encyclopedic knowledge of nursery rhymes. The competition will be decided by the final lots - James has invested in the power of cute, while Charlie sticks to what he knows best, brown furniture. It's a close-run race.

We are now closed until Wednesday 3rd January 2018. We would like to express our thanks to those who have helped, encouraged us, and supported us since the 1st September. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you all 😁🎅 🎄🍾🎆☃️

Christmas is getting closer - you may have realised that you don't have enough chairs to seat all the guests around the table (you really don't want Grandma sitting on the kitchen stool again!) The Station Emporium is now offering a rental service for solid, beautiful dining chairs at very reasonable daily rates, so no need to panic - just give us a call! We can cater for single chairs or sets, and offer a delivery & collection service. Seating Sorted!
