My favourite spot in The Borders :-)
Highly recommended: sincere owners, excellent food..

6 Sept 2017 - Had a bit of luck with this nice 9 pounder Salmon on a Red Francis.
8 Sept 2017 - A nice cock fish on a Flame Thrower. He looked bigger than he actually was, just over 10 lbs., but had a huge tail and went like a train !

Les has worked hard all Summer in the garden which has rewarded us with lots of fruit and veg. He was then busy making lots of jam; Strawberry, Blackcurrant, Plum and Goosberry & Rhubarb - the latter winning first prize in our village show. We have now been picking apples and feeding the windfalls to our neighbours sheep who love them!
