Cletus Steinbeiser announces that Sat. night, Jan 10, 2015, the first hoedown of the New Year. There are 11 more to follow. THE STEINBEISER AND FRIENDS BAND, will be benefiting a man from Bellwood; his name is Brian Keiser. He is 42 years old and is battling cancer. He has been in Pittsburg for the last couple weeks. The music will start at 6 until 9. The fire hall will open the kitchen at 5 to serve food. All money raised from kitchen sales will go directly to the kitchen and all others will go directly to Brian Keiser. Come out and enjoy Our music and fellowship
The Steinbeiser and Friends Band will hold its monthly Hoedown Saturday at the Tipton-Antis Fire Hall to help Gabriel Suhoney of Roaring Springs who will be six months old August 23. Baby Gabriel has a healthy twin sister, Adylyne Grace. Their parents are Dorcey and Beverly Suhoney and they have a sister, Jaylyne who is three.
Gabriel was first treated at Nason Hospital when he became sick and then life flighted to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh where he remained for two ...months. Presently he is being cared for at home. Gab is suffering with MGA syndrom, brain damage and has four permanent feeding tubes in his stomach and a blood clot in his leg.
Mr. Suhoney recently lost his job and the family car was totaled in a flood a month ago.
Cletus Steinbeiser said he hopes the public will come out and support this young family who really needs help.
The Steinbeiser and Friends Band is made up of talented area musicians who love to play and donate their time to help others through the Hoedown.
The doors open Saturday at Tipton Fire Hall at 5 p.m. with persons able to purchase food if they would like something to eat prior to the music which begins at 6 o'clock.

ITS HOEDOWN TIME---SATURDAY, April 12th--The recipient for this month will be Gracie Pluebell of Tyrone, who just had open heart surgery. She is home from the hospital now. All money raised will go directly to Gracie for her care. Music is from 6 till 9 by The Steinbeisers and Friends Band. The fire hall's kitchen will open at 5pm for dinner. All proceeds from that will go to the fire hall. So if you are not busy, come out and support a good cause and have a little fun. Thank you Cletus Steinbeiser.
This Saturday (2/8/14), at the Tipton Firehall, the Steinbeiser and Friends band will be hosting a Hoedown in support of Tammy Shaw. It has come to our attention that a lot of people know Tammy. Tammy is currently in a battle against cancer and could use all of the support that we can give her. So, if you're free on Saturday from 6-9 pm come out to the Tipton Firehall and show your support for Tammy and her family. The firehall will be selling food starting at 5pm. The money from food goes to the firehall, but ALL other money collected will be given to the Shaw family.( this information came from Vergie Werner.)
It's that time of the month again, Hoedown, a very worthwhile charity night here in Blair County at the Tipton fire hall--Saturday, January 11, 2014 @ 6/9pm. It helps families in need. Be it illness, family crisis, disaster, or so on, this family oriented band, Steinbeiser and Friends Band, from Sinking Valley--Tyrone, Warriors Mark and surrounding areas provide a very worthwhile deed because of their love for music. Just in case anyone is interested, this band is led by Cletus Steinbeiser, accompanied by brothers Skip and Leo of Sinking Valley and His FRIENDS . Come and enjoy an evening of country, gospel and other genres of music. It is free to the public. A donation for the evening is accepted to be given to the beneficiary chosen for the month.
