Two treasure troves--one in the front a bigger venue in the back. Something for everyone and much to explore. One of my favorite destinations!

Always a must stop for us when we're at the shoreline. Actually drive in from Canton, CT just to dine on local seafood and shop at The Trove. It's 2 (two) buildings worth of incredible finds at the fair pricing I've found in all of Connecticut's antique/vintage shops. I never leave empty handed, and discover the most unique treasures. Also a MUST for jewelry seekers! See More

A nice variety of items. Don't forget to check out their other store in back of the front building, the one with the red awning. Just follow the stone pathway on the right side of the building. Fur...niture pieces, smalls, a fun place to shop. See More

We've just visited the Trove for the first time... we found a wonderful assortment of nostalgic toys, vintage jewelry and furniture in great shape, items of historical interest, and best of all.. the ...prices were reasonable. I'd like to thank blog friend Arlene for letting us know about this shoreline gem. See More

Armstrong War Rug Collection

This is a huge rug, for a Baluch and for a war rug - it measures approximately 12' x 13.'

Closed for snow 3/13.

Oysters anyone? Pair of patented Boteler 1874 oyster serving plates. Probably made by Haviland with a lovely pink border. Not something we have often nor usually very long. #thetrove #oldsaybrook #oysters #haviland #wontlastlong

We have updated some of our consignment policies but most notably we have slashed the rate for items over $1000 to 10%. This offers the seller the advantage of being able to set your asking price instead of sending it to auction with an undetermined outcome. Send us a message if you'd like to know more! #thetrove #oldsaybrook #consignment #deal

Back building shots!

I think this is the oldest man made object in the store currently. A 1554 Italian edition of Seneca's "On Benefits." It has been rebound, likely in the 19th century. This printing though has a great look and is in good condition given its age. Check out the little iron inked notations. #thetrove #oldsaybrook #senecatheyounger #oldbooks #printingpress

Our vendors have been bringing in some great items and this is just the tip of the iceberg!

Check out these industrial lights! From dealer #31. What possibilities for lighting or repurposing.
