Hey Everyone! This week we are featuring our resident dog MICKEY. We called him MICKEY because if you look at his back he has a black patch which looks just like the cartoon character MICKEY MOUSE! MICKEY is Sunny's pup which we rescued from the streets of Tangier when many other dogs were poisoned! MICKEY loves living at the refuge and playing with all the other dogs. He is no trouble whatsoever and is a very well tempered dog. He may not be the smartest, strongest or most intelligent dog in the refuge but you see we love him as much as all the other dogs as he is so very special to us. We love you MICKEY MOUSE sooooooooooo much! X
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! THESE CREATURES COULD TEACH THE HUMAN RACE A THING OR TWO X

Hey Everyone! This week we are featuring our resident dog SILVER! SILVER was rescued from Tangier and brought to the refuge with the intention of giving her to one of the neighbours as a shepherd dog, but SILVER never did leave the refuge! The reason being, SILVER is the most affectionate, loving dog at the refuge. She is the first one who comes running to greet you and of course our visitors, looking for a cuddle. Sometimes I honestly forget she is a dog, as she is also so very intelligent! You see, we couldn't let SILVER go to be a shepherd dog as she fills our refuge with so much love! We love you so much SILVER and we are so lucky to have you with us X
Have a relaxing day everyone, the weekend is close
:)

Today, in Nepal the celebration of Kukkur Tihaar is taking place. It is a hindu festival that celebrates dogs for their friendship and loyalty. Frankly we should celebrate all over the world for having such wonderful companions!
Good Afternoon everyone, Here are our latest snaps from the refuge
:) May you all have a wonderful weekend
Hey Everyone! This week we are featuring our resident dog GOLDIE! You've guessed it - she is called GOLDIE because she has a gold coloured coat and her eyes sparkle like gold stars! Luckily GOLDIE was one of the survivors when the dogs near to our villa in Tangier were tragically posioned. She had just given birth to puppies so she was hidden in the bushes. GOLDIE is definately the caring mother figure of the refuge. As you can see from the second photo, she not only fed her puppies Leo, Frankie and Taffy but she also fed the 5 little orphaned puppies too. GOLDIE is such a wonderful, caring dog and we love her sooooooooo much! X
Adorable

Hey Everyone! This week we are featuring our resident dog DAISY! Tragically, DAISY's mum and dad were both poisoned when she was only 1 week old! We adopted DAISY and her brother and sisters and looked after them in our apartment until the refuge was ready. DAISY was the runt of the family. However, she is probably the most intelligent and now looking at the latest photo of her taken 2 weeks ago, she is probably one of the strongest dogs at the refuge. DAISY chain, we love you sooooooooo much! X
