Talking to our children about violence is a major parental concern these days, and Oswego County Family Court Referee, Thom Benedetto, wants to help parents deal with this critical issue.
Grateful for the support from the Granby Committee. Thank you!
Looking forward seeing the beauty of our Oswego County countryside in the Summertime.
I’m very grateful for the strong support from these communities. This endorsement means a lot. I would like to thank all of the committee members in all of the towns and cities for their time and attention in this important process.
Here is a good read about our children’s emotional health.
“As parents, most of us are instinctively attuned to every sneeze, scratch and sleep disruption. We are careful to never miss a check up or ignore a cough. Yet even as we worry over immunizations and stock up on hand soap for flu season, how often do we take the time to sit back and ask ourselves: how emotionally healthy are our children?” - Lisa Firestone, Ph.D.
Quality time with a child doesn’t cost money or come from a store. Take a moment to make a memory. These are the things kids look back on to draw strength when things get tough. Hug your kids and have a great day!
Thought for today:
"Today is not just another ordinary day. It is an opportunity to do, or say, something that just might inspire the life of a child." ~ TF Hodge...

What a great time we had Sunday supporting the Oswego County 4H Bone Diggers where they participated in a K9 Search and Rescue presentation by the NYS K9 Coordinator about how dogs use their noses to find lost people in the wilderness. It was great supporting these awesome kids. They were very attentive and did a great job setting up and cleaning up at the end of the day. - with Thom Benedetto
Inspiring the life of a child and encouraging them to push their boundaries will help a child realize their unlimited potential to achieve their dreams and change the World for the better! - thom
