The world lost one of the first ambassador's of India's revered musical tradition. George Harrison was influenced, as was Rock N Roll, electronic, and Jazz musicians across the past 60 years. John Coltrane even named his son, Ravi, after the late, great Ravi Shankar. He passed away today at the age of 92. RIP

“I have always had an instinct for doing new things,” Mr. Shankar said in 1985. “Call it good or bad, I love to experiment.”
