We are in your store every single week, and I realize after years of great experiences, their is going to be that one time, but did it have to be the entire tri...p? Apples were bruised, family favorite turkey no longer being carried and to top it all off, Michael stuffed $40 worth of produce and meats in two bags. When I asked for an additional bag, he did remove the bananas from their spot on top of the two packages of chicken breasts, but he let me know he was not allowed to provide additional bags. Guess what, the one packed full of pineapples and apples and chicken salad and ice cream sandwiches burst before we got to the truck. Please fix it - I don't want to shop elsewhere! See More

I love shopping here but this week (week before Christmas) your "sales" are awfully close to regular prices. Boars Head is 1 dollar higher than previous weeks, ...shrimp and salmon are higher, filet mignon is 12 bucks a pound on sale. I know some things go up around the holidays, but this effectively limits my reasons for shopping there this holiday season. I will return when things get un-holidayed, but I have found significantly better sale prices on all items. Again, one of my favorite places, but if I am priced out, there is nothing else to buy. Came in this morning and spent $65.49. Cashier shoved all my items in one bag and it was very heavy. I asked for a second plastic bag and was told its agains...t store policy to
Provide another bag. My fruit was smashed because I purchased a few canned items that was all shoved in the bag! Very upset!

Always enjoy going to Tom Leonard's. On the day I went they had a petting zoo out front. Even my teenagers loved it. The salmon we got from the store was so fresh and we are still enjoying the cinnamon swirl bread!

One of the greatest Produce markets I've ever seen. I can't wait to go back there. Everything so fresh just like you'd see in a magazine. Large variety of very good foods. Prices excellent.

Love the produce and meats , just wish the prices were better , wanted to buy four of the hanging baskets outside but they looked like they were all dying and starving for water :(

We had the best experience here today! Their Santa is WONDERFUL (we think he might be the real one) and the cashier was so friendly and great with our kids! We live on Southside, otherwise we'd be back often!

I normally do not write reviews but I felt I had to this time. We were visiting family in Virginia and decided to pick up some food to make a nice dinner. A c...ouple of people told us to go to Tom Leonards because of the slection and freshness. When we got there with our three little kids we were amazed by the variety we had to choose from. After standing in front of the meat cooler for several minutes trying to decide what to get we were approached by a man that explained the different cuts of meat to us. We finally made our decision and then he asked if we were looking for anything else. We said we needed everything to make a "good" meal for our hosts. He spent over 20 minutes walking us around giving us different suggestions of what we could make with the beef we chose. As we were checking out we asked the cashier for the name of the man that spent soo much time to help us. She told us he is the owner Tom Leonard. We could not believe that the owner of such a large store would be willing to spend soo much time helping us pick out food for one meal. This is the type of customer service that soo many businesses are missing. We absolutely would recommend this store to anyone. Thank you again Tom for all of your help. See More

My wife and I LOVE Tom Leonard's! They have great quality meat, seafood and produce and often the best prices in town. Not only are their chicken breasts natura...l (not filled with chicken broth like you see at Krogers, Food Lion and the like) they're always $1.99/lb or less! Their seafood is always fresh and often 50% less than the average grocery store. Every deli prepared item I've had tastes great and their popcorn is definitely worth a go. I've always been greeted with friendliness and have shopped hear probably about 2x per month in the past year. See More

Our family has shopped at Tom Leonards for several years. Today we had a very different experience. Along with our produce we purchased a pack of pork chops. Wh...ile putting our groceries in our car we smelt a bad odor. It was the pork chop package...we assumed the smell was on the outside, so my husband went inside to exchange for another package. When we got home I discovered the second package was smelly too, we opened the plastic wrap to the awful rancid smell. Called the store and were told that the original package that we returned was indeed fine and there wasn't a problem with the meat at all.
Food borne illness is a real thing, GA Tom Leonards! Thanks for being cool with allowing the sale of grossness to your community.

I used to LOVE going there but no one in the deli department can slice meat. The give you attitude when you ask them to slice it thin, which they are rarely able to do. Looking forward to Publix coming to Richmond!

We had our 1st Tom Leonard's experience on Sunday 7/19. Best produce we have ever seen. The giant black berries were amazing! Will have to go back again this we...ek to pick up more. The butcher was very helpful and we grilled up the steak that night and it was delicious. Great service and even got a sample of pop corn from Tom himself! Of course had to get some butter & cheese popcorn for the kids. Overall great service and great prices. See More

Love the store but the people who work there are not very friendly and also unsociable!

So Tom, if your motto is "The customer is always right," why did you accuse my grandmother of trying to steal TURKEY INNARDS?!? When in fact it was your turkeys... (or your brothers) that came INCOMPLETE! YOU, for three years in a row sold her an unsatisfactory product, then had the gall to insinuate to her that she was trying to steal from you?! Yes YOU personally did this! I would expect that from a disgruntled employee of a trashy chain store, but not from the OWNER of a store that prides itself on customer service, especially when it was your store and your product that was at fault. Oh, and she'd never say this, but the woman you accused of "stealing" turkey innards could strike a check and buy your store, she doesn't need to STEAL anything, and prior to this event had spent thousands in your store, only to be treated like this! I work in the service industry and have never seen an establishment treat someone the way she was treated. You embarrassed her to the point of tears. Shameful. See More

We were in Valentines Day weekend. We had a terriable experience in the seafood dept. Actually witnessed the owner screaming, throwing a phone, in employees fac...e so close my husband and I thought 911 would be called. The owners son tried to say how "unprofessional "it was! It made me feel so bad for that employee who had to take that abuse and humiliation. I loved this store until this happened. Hope some anger mgmt classes has been applied. See More
