This year, we were invited to contribute to the ‘Storms, Wars and Shipwrecks’ summer exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, UK.
Telling the story of the pivotal Mediterranean island of Sicily over the last 2500 years, the exhibition features a range of incredible artefacts recovered by underwater archaeologists from the surrounding sea bed. Including treasures as varied as ship anchors to soldiers’ armour, and from amphorae to a byzantine church interior the exhibit is... a fascinating exploration of ancient cultures and the story of the modern-day divers who worked to uncover them.
One of the key exhibits is a display of Roman and Carthaginian warship rams, thought to be from the Battle of the Egadi Islands in 241 BC. To help illustrate these giant weapons, Creative Assembly have created a video re-enactment of the battle using the Total War: ROME II game engine and art, which is projected on to the wall behind the display.

This year, Creative Assembly were invited to contribute to the ‘Storms, Wars and Shipwrecks’ summer exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, UK.
One of the key exhibits is a display of Roman and Carthaginian warship rams, thought to be from the Battle of the Aegadi Islands in 241 BC. To help illustrate these giant weapons, Creative A...ssembly have created a video re-enactment of the battle using the Total War: ROME II game engine and art, which is projected on to the wall behind the display.
Three winners will get a pair of tickets, with a runner up receiving a prize bundle from the Ashmolean Museum's store. Travel and accommodation is NOT included.

Re-balanced the Devolve spell in Call of the Beastmen.
Fixed a crash when some players opened the Custom / Multiplayer Battle lobby, after the Call of the Beastmen / Patch 2 Update.
Fixed a case where the game would become unable to End Turn during the Chaos Invasion when playing on save games started before the Call of the Beastmen/Patch 3 update.
Fixed a Multiplayer Campaign crash in the Event Feed, when opening the faction overview panel or completing a Multiplayer Campaign.
Fixed a battle hang, where in very specific instances, the battle may become stuck, and the player can only move the camera but not interact with the units or menus.
Trees will no longer be missing from battlefields suffering from Chaos Corruption, loaded through the "An Eye For an Eye" Call of the Beastmen Campaign map.
Players who do not own Call of the Beastmen can now see the Lore of Beast and Lore of the Wild in the spell browser. For example when using the Free Amber Wizard unit (who has access to Lore of beasts).
Updated the Victory conditions in "An Eye For an Eye" Call of the Beastmen Campaign:
Replaced the Major victory “raze 30 regions” with an objective to destroy Carroburg and Cult of Ulric.
Lowered the raiding requirements slightly, making it slightly easier to meet the raiding requirements.
Added "Destroying Middenheim" as an Ultimate Objective.
