I lived in the town when I first married. Quaint little town. I loved living there. I don't know what they have as far as work. I think it's still just a small town to live quietly in, and you work the small surroundings towns or cities See More

I love Clarksburg. That's why we bought our house here last year. Peace and quiet, you can actually see the stars, and I have a yard!

LOATH ENTIRELY!!!! What a joke of a town!!! Not bad if you dont want running water!!!

EASTER EGG HUNT! Clarksburg's VFW will hold their annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 31st at 10:00 AM at the Town Recreation Field located on West Cross Road.

Clarksburg DPW is working on knocking down snow banks at intersections and widening roads. Main roads will be done first. This will take some time to be done so please just have patience.


Town of Clarksburg's Town Hall, Library, Senior Center & School are all closed today. Snow emergency in effect till 7:00 pm tonight. If possible please stay off the roads to allow our Highway Department to continue to plow. Stay safe everyone.j

CLARKSBURG KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION. Children must be five years old as of August 31, 2018. Please call the office at 663-8735 as soon as possible if your child is eligible. Kindergarten orientation for students and parents, and a student screening, will be held at a later date. Parents of three and four year olds who have a special concern about their children have the option to make an appointment to have their youngster screend by calling the Director of Special Education at
664-4655 to discuss your individual concerns.

The Town of Clarksburg has declared a snow emergency effective 1/4/18 at 9:30 AM until 7:00 pm 1/5/18. There will be absolutely no parking on any roads/streets at any time during the snow emergency. Any vehicles found on any public roadways will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

Clarksburg's Peter A. Cook Post 9144 will host the Town's Annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Sunday, November 26th at 6:00 PM at the Recreation Field on West Cross Road. Santa will be arriving by fire truck to meet and chat with the children. The VFW is asking that you bring donations of canned goods that will be delivered to the Friendship Food Pantry in North Adams.

* All others will use designated classrooms on upper level
* Rooms will be connected digitally/electronically to lower level
* Voters will register and obtain their ballots once discussion
is ended
* Voters on first floor will vote first. Voters upstairs will be
brought down by room
* Six residents will be used to check in voters and distribute
* Voters MUST place their vote in the Ballot Box and discard
other portion in the trash receptacles

Effective - November 9, 2017 through April 30, 2018. NO overnight parking will be allowed any town roads and streets between the hours of 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Annual Haunted Hayride will be held on October 14th, 2017 between the hours of 6:30 - 9:00 PM, at Clarksburg State Park located on Middle Road in the town. Rain date October 21st. Adults $7.00 cheldren $5.00. Have a fun time, but BEWARE as you ride through the haunted areas of the park, you never know what is lurking or where!!!!!!!!!!!!
