Thank you for the LOVE!
We trace our roots here. In 2007, 15 volunteers climbed the mountains of Itogon, Benguet to give cheers to children. That is why we felt it is just apt we come back 10 years after to thank the community for jump-starting this journey for us. Next year, we plan to help the school construct a new comfort room and a fence around the classroom. For the kids, we plan to give them new backpacks, school supplies, raincoats, hygiene kits, art sets, and other gifts. We also plan to prepare a feast for the whole community, just like our very first TREK. Want to help? We are accepting donations in cash (Trails To Empower Kids Inc. BPI Checking Account 3991-0093-36) and in kind. PM us for more details. #trek10for10

Another partner organization is TREK, it is a volunteer-based organization composed mostly of mountain climbers from different organizations bonded together by the same advocacy of helping kids and communities who live in the mountains and other isolated areas.

Be inspired, empowered, and equiped with empowering messages from strong female role models.

Join the 3rd BDJ Women’s Summit, Women Redefined, on March 11, at SM Aura’s Samsung Hall and meet some of the women volunteers of TRails to Empower Kids. We will be with fellow advocacy groups. Donations will also be accepted at the summit.

Thank You so much LORD sa karanasan ng buhay.

A throwback before we end the year.

The year 2016 brought the world so much change. In our country alone, change has come not only in the political scene but also in th...e way people consume news and information. Never before had there been so much misinformation and fake news circulating around, influencing people to spew hate to those who do not share their opinions.

But “all things come to pass”. On the first day of 2017, a step in a new journey comes. A new year is an opportunity to feel hopeful once more.

But where is hope? It is found in stories of ex-prisoners who go back to help their fellows behind bars, and the people who prepare them to a life of “second chances”; it is found in the stories of Pinoy Millennials who, even at such a young age, already have their advocacies – and their hearts – in the right place.

Share their stories so that they may inspire more people to make 2017 a more hopeful year, better than the one that has passed. Available in print and online ( #MBFocusFeature
