Interns take a ride on forklift; county worker suspended WARREN - A seasonal worker in the Trumbull County Engineer's Office was suspended for five days in August for using ''bad judgment'' when he used a forklift to support two summer interns working on a door of a garage at a maintenance yard in Cortland. Engineer Randy Smith said he learned of the incident from early July when a grievance was filed after one of the interns wrote a letter to the union there in August raising concerns about her safety. Smith said during the investigation, there were ''about four different versions of the story,'' but the investigation resulted in the determination that seasonal worker Andrew Holko could have used better judgment.
