Outstanding bass fishing!!! I wish it wasn't 3 hours away from me! :( But it is still well worth the drive! I probably will drive right by Pueblo from now on and just fish this lake!!!

This is my favorite place in earth (that I've visited so far.) I'm not sure what about it makes me feel that way, it's not particularly isolated or grand, but I just love it. Has some great, relativel...y challenging hiking, nice views, and a good fishing lake. Also has some of the best facilities of any park I've visited. Id live here if I could. See More

The facilities are great, new and clean. The playground is great-my grandkids loved it. The views are great-Fisher Peak and the Rockies. The fishing is great-caught some really nice trout in the lake ...and the river. Staff at the visitor center are very helpful. What's not to love! See More

Beautiful views, clean spacious sites and excellent facilities. Recently remodeled bathrooms, showers and even laundry room and dish washing station. Beautiful playground for the kids and fun volleyba...ll court.
Great hiking with fantastic views of Trinidad lake. We also liked that the ranger station sold stickers and magnets for our state park collection, (many do not!) and ice cream novelties for the kids.
Well worth the 3 hour drive from Denver, our family would definitely return again.

Beautiful sights! Not only do you get to view this tranquil Lake spot, there are also opportunities to view the Rocky Mountains.
All facilities were clean and hiking trails are well blazed.

Trinidad lake is the best like I have ever fished! There are a lot of great reservoir's out there, but iether I haven't fished them or the one's that I have just haven't produced the action or the wid...e variety of species that this lake has in it! I have fished this lake all of my life and will continue to do so every chance I get! I love being out on the water, fishing this lake hard for relentless hours! I have caught a lot of great fish! I have never failed to get action! Live minnows are the key ingredient to pull'n home the lunkers! If u have never fished with them, you are missing out on the real action! I like to angle as well, but you never know what's going to be on the end of your line, when you see your bobber go under when you have a live minnow on your hook! Now that's a thrill just watching it go under, then when you set the hook and you got a fight on your hands! I absolutely love that! So experiencing Trinidad lake is a must!!! See More

It's a great park, and a great location for visiting southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. Sits on the Highway of Legends. Beautiful!

Nice campground. But thought the daily park fee of $7.00 should have been included with the camping fee
