River Thames at Dusk, The Shard - Sepia - London Skyline Panorama.
Panoramic image spanning Wapping, Shad Thames, The Shard, Tower Bridge.
Taken on a crisp clear evening as the sky changed from indigo to black, the sunset behind Tower Hill illuminating the Shard and the City....
A medium length exposure creates a silky sheen to the River Thames and captures some movement of the moored boats at Hermitage Moorings.
Butlers Wharf and Shad Thames are the backdrop.
This version, re-worked from the original that I was unhappy with, was converted to black and white before being blended with a sepia split tone.
3:53am... just got in from a long evening/night of photography....
Low tide, Sunset and no Moon...all combined to make good conditions... together with the warm day and evening and little in the way of clouds. Lots of long exposures to process.

11 stitched images to make this long exposure panorama, with a 10-stop ND filter, to slow time and (slightly) blur the (very slow moving) clouds and water.

This is the initial post-stitch fix, prior to any colour retouching, dodging and burning, tone mapping etc. So is not a finalised image.
