Rain got ya feelin’ down? well not anymore after this smiling face on your feed 😉

TP’s mission statement says that our organization fosters personal growth and self-discovery, and nobody better embodies that than our director of development, Jerica Manuel. Also involved in the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Jerica is currently a junior majoring in Computer Science (Games)! This time two years ago, TP stood out to her as the kindest people at Involvement Fair 😉 and she’s be...en an active member since. While she is appreciative of all the free food TP has to offer, Jerica is most of all grateful for the irreplaceable friendships, the open space to grow as a friend and community leader, and the memories that will keep her laughing beyond her college years that TP has given her.

Jerica is always there if you’re feeling down and need to hear a pun, help you reflect on your life, or just offer her own words of wisdom if u strugglin’!

PAHM ended in October 😔... but we wanted to show our appreciation for Paulo Dela Cruz (@paulodc_ ) for all the hard work he put in that month and the rest of fall semester, hosting a series of events to help members grow in their Filipino identity. For Paulo, TP has helped guide his growth in understanding his perspective of being Filipino-American in ways that can’t be quantified :’) Thank you Paulo for the awesome GMs you hosted in October; your passion truly shined through through your events!

Keziah Hidalgo is TP’s 2017-2018 Director of Programming who planned our fall semester weekend retreat in Big Bear! As a junior, she is also involved in @usc_alphagam, the REACH lab, JEP, and the Health Science Education program. For Keziah, Troy Phi is special because it offers “not only a community where we can express ourselves and explore our cultural heritage, but also a family where we can continue to support and build each other up.” She joined Troy Phi as a freshman, and now her favorite thing about being on E-board is being able to work with all her friends to put on the best events possible for TP ❤️ We look forward to all future programming with you 🤗
