My Husband received vouchers for haircut and style and shave here. Do note that the vouchers were fully paid by the one who gave them to him. Went into shop and told the staff that he wants to redeem ...the vouchers. When his shaving was done, they whipped out some cream and just told him that they're going to apply those mask, to which my husband thought comes with the voucher as the staff didn't mention anything. To our surprise, my Husband had to whip out quite a sum of cash for an "invigorating mask" which he didn't even knew he had. When we asked the staff why they gave him the mask without him asking, staff simply said "sorry we didn't know". Makes one feel cheated. Even women's facial don't cost as much. Don't bother visiting unless you're ready to be surprised by ignorant staff who is too lazy to check what the customer requested for. See More

Every six weeks of the last 2 years I have been a regular customer. I've now decided to go elsewhere.

Every time I visit the 'selling' gets harder and harder. I want to sit, close my eyes and relax, ...not have a constant selling of extra cuts, shaves, waxing, head massage etc etc. if I wanted that experience I would sit in petaling street!!! A major disappointment. See More

Quite possibly the worst haircut I've ever had. I came in with medium length hair and came out looking like a fucking coconut. The barbers name was Shaune from the jw Marriott branch. I asked for an i...nch off the top and tapered just around the edges with a 1.5. Straight away he goes in with the clippers and ends up taking both sides way too high leaving me with a mound of long hair on top. Then he says how do you want it on top. I told him this at the start. 1 inch off wich was now impossible as it wouldn't blend into the sides which he fucked. I told him he's gonna have to cut it a lot shorter for this to blend in. Next thing, he just starts hacking away at my hair with no real care or structure. After that he started smashing his way thru with the thinning scissors like he had some kind of mad Parkinson's disease. So after that mess he created he squared the back of my neck off when I told him I wanted it tapered. Absolute shambles. He didn't listen to anything I said plus his skills were horrendous. I should know this as I am a barber myself. I dont know how they dare charge those prices. When you're paying top dollar, you expect good service and you expect the barber to listen. Seriously pissed off. I walked out without paying.
On the plus side tho... The blonde girl behind the reception is unbelievable. See More

Was attended to by Sam at the JW Marriott outlet, and it was an undoubtedly great service that was rendered even for just a simple "Royal Cut".

I have had compliments on the haircut ever since and if... I were to return to KL, I will definitely visit Sam again.

[Bangsar branch] I was greatly disappointed by the demeanour of the stylist attending to me & the other stylists on duty,

1. the stylist attending to me was rushing, made some mistakes & cut corners... i.e ( my hair was'nt washed at the end of the session)

2. together with other stylist they were bad-mouthing customers in Arabic (thinking that i did not understand them because i am Asian, but not knowing that i grew up in Saudi Arabia, so i understand perfectly what they were whining about), they were even cursing.

Unfortunately, the whole experience was horrible & not worth the price. I felt that a barber by the road side would have done a better job at looking after their customer.

I hope that the Truefitt & Hill management will look into this matter & strive to improve their service towards their customers. See More

The one star says Terrible: One of the worst. I've been to a lot of barbers and hair styling and I have to say, it is THE worst I've ever been.

Was there last Friday for a haircut. Since I was visi...ting KL, thought I'd go to Truefit and Hill, recognised as the finest traditional gentlemen’s barber in London. Sad to say, there was nothing "finest" or "gentlemanly" about the service in the KL branch and I did not "feel my very best". The only customer service I had was from the receptionist. Kudos to them to making me feel welcome. Everything else in was just a bad experience.

The barber seemed to be in a rush. His eyes was all over the place. Did a rush cut with his clippers and a quick clean up with the razor. Just before my session ended, it seems that he remember something he forgot. "Oh yes, I should wash your hair", and then did so very hurriedly and roughly. No special care was taken to ensure water doesn't get into the ears or eyes. No head massage. Nothing. There was water all over my face, not to mention all the bad techniques used. After he was done, he basically used the dryer with his hands to dry my hair. No styling with the hair dryer and the comb. My hair was flying all over my face. At the very end, he gave me an off-centre parting when it was clear I had a side slick. Only after I swept my hair to the side did he say, "Oh, that's how you want it" .

There was almost no use of the comb for the entire session. All the hair control was done with his hands. Maybe the most 20% of the time. (that's about 2 mins), and he didn't even mirror the back of my head for me to check.

I was basically done in 15 mins or less. For $100, I'd expect to be pampered. I think I'll be treated 10 times better at a local barber. Or any other barber, which I will be going from now on. Anywhere but back to Truefit and Hill KL, Bangsar. I hope the franchise at SG, or anywhere else isn't anywhere close to this. See More

Went to GE Mall branch last Tuesday, the front staff was very nice but my haircut was spoiled by the unskilled barber...i am still feel unhappy wif my haircut till today, anyhow they not charge me but... still...its about my hair...please improve! See More
