Twisted Willow is my favorite restaurant in Ozaukee County. Their fish fry is amazing and so are all the other dishes on the menu that I’ve tried. The meatloaf ranks up there and most recently the taco and tots special. The tater tots should make a regular appearance. Make sure to try the french onion soup and save room for the fabulous creme brûlée which is now on the regular menu (yea!).
Mark is our favorite server so we always request him. He’s very funny and helpful and can answer any questions we have.
Also, Twister Willow regularly donates to this community which is so kind of them.

We just had an amazing dinner there tonight! The staff is very friendly and provided us with great service. The food was delicious! My husband and I both had fish fry, and it was one of the best ones ...I've had in a long time. Since I couldn't have the clam chowder, due to allergies, our waiter substituted it with a house salad free of charge. The sweet potato fries were really good, and the mac 'n cheese from the kids menu was delicious; our three-year-old loved it. We loved the atmosphere, and playing Trivial Pursuit with each other made the waiting for our food a pleasant one, even though our food came out really fast despite the restaurant being really busy. Our dessert was also delicious (we had the flourless fudge chocolate brownie), and so was our son's complementary "dirt", complete with gummy worms. Last, but definitely not least, our server, Mark, was amazing, and made our experience very enjoyable, and made our son's night when he agreed on boxing his leftover "dirt", after our son personally asked him. We recommend them 100%, and will definitely be coming back! See More

We were in again tonight for dinner and I had the newly added chicken sandwich and I just had to leave a review for it because it was seriously the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I have had a l...ot of bad chicken sandwich experiences but this was far from it. Please keep it on the menu. You’ll be seeing more of me now that I know it’s there. Haven’t had a bad meal here yet!! It’s always consistently great quality food that tastes great. Our waitress was lovely as well, great service!! See More

This restaurant is a real gem in Port Washington. Real farm to table fine dining. Everything prepared beautifully and very creative. From our host to our waitress, we found them to be welcoming and... friendly. They were also able to describe various wines as well as the menu in great detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there from the excellent Cabernet (Federalist), to the entree and finishing with fresh coffee and dessert. Well worth your time and the drive. Thank you for making our Sunday evening so enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back. See More

Absolutely LOVE Twisted Willow! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is fantastic! I like to try something new and the other evening, I tried the Butter Chicken? (Indian Dish) it wa...s so good! We have a regular server- Mark- who we request each time- he’s awesome, light-hearted and always goes above and beyond. Candy (Manager) is excellent as well! I see her and the chefs out at charity events within Ozaukee County, giving back to the community, along with their generosity for school fundraisers and more! See More

My mum has been raving about this place for awhile and today was my first chance to check it out. Hostess and waitress were both very friendly, as was the chef (I believe his name was Eric) we spoke t...o. I only got a salad, but it was very tasty and had the perfect amount of vinaigrette. I did try some of the sweet potato fries my mum got, though, and they are AMAZING! Definitely would return when in the area See More

Mark was an excellent server and the food -fish, salad, soups, slaw, potatoes- was dynamite. Will definitely visit again because there’s so much to try on that menu!

It’s our favorite place to go to here in town. It is good, clean food that is priced very nicely. It isn’t over the top.
Three ways to enjoy time at Twisted: up in treehouse, or in dining area downst...airs, or at the bars.

Best meal we've had out! Everything had great flavor and fresh. Our waiter, Tony, was excellent. We were seated upstairs in the lounge which had amazing views. We will definitely be back!

This may very well be the best restaurant in Wisconsin. They have a terrific selection of custom-made mixed drinks. The man-fashion is spectacular. They mix their drinks perfectly with the finest ingr...edients. This was our first time at Twisted Willow. Marcy was a great hostess. We wanted to tip her by the end of the night. They put us at the Lover's Nook table and gave us free desert because they thought we waited for our table too long. We never noticed, but appreciated the upgrades. They really know how to treat their customers. We will be back soon. See More

The BEST Caesar Salad I've ever had. Hands down. I've been to the restaurant two times. I've had the walleye and mac n cheese with blackened chicken. Both dishes were good, but not exceptional enough justify the price. Old Fashions are good but very, very inconsistent. Great ambience and amazing staff. We will return! See More

Had dinner at the Twisted Willow last night for our anniversary and everything was amazing! My only small complaint was that the drinks were very strong, we should have done wine instead. We had the s...pinach and artichoke dip for an app and it was delicious. I had the mushroom stroganoff which was great and my husband had the Ditka pork chop special which was out of this world! Entrees came with soup or salad and bread and the portions are generous so lots of food. If you are celebrating something special you get a complementary brandy alexander or grasshopper, the grasshopper was perfect and we also had the creme brulee special which was to die for! This is our new favorite place! No need to go downtown with this farm to table gem right in Port! See More

Our lunch at the Twisted Willow was the perfect dining experience - attentive service and delectable food in a beautifully appointed space. My clam chowder was brimming with freshly-prepared flavor an...d my husband definitely enjoyed the much lauded meatloaf. The star of the meal was hands down my absolutely gorgeous peach bruschetta - heavenly! The Twisted Willow is a culinary must if your path takes you to charming Port Washington. See More

Our server was very pleasant. We liked her a lot, as well as the other staff who welcomly greeted us. We ordered the shrimp pasta, and the mushroom pasta with the gluten free option for both. The past...a was chopped into small pieces, which made the dish a little strange and rather soupy. The crab cakes seemed to be made from canned crab and were just ok. (The sauce they were served with was good!) That being said, I can't say we wouldn't come back. But would definitely try some different items on the menu next time! Loved the trivia at the table and how our to-go box was wrapped in a cute little thank you bow. :) See More
