#1-Long Beach State def. #2-UCLA 3-1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 25-21) tonight in Pauley Pavilion. Grant Maleski led UCLA with a career-high 14 kills, followed by JT Hatch with 13 kills and Dylan Missry adding 11 kills. At the net, the Bruins outblocked the 49ers 8 to 7. Christian Hessenauer led the Bruins with 19 kills, followed by JT Hatch adding 16 kills. UCLA outblocked Ohio State 13.5 to 8.5. The Bruins hit .356 on the evening, led by Jake Arnitz with 13 kills (.476) and Dylan Missry with 10 kills (.500).
